The games of your childhood

Mention here the games that in some way or another had a significant relevance in your early gaming days, they don't need to be good or popular or anything. If possible explain why.

------------------------------------

(In no particular order, more or less crhonologically if any)

Mario bros NES - The first game I ever played I think.
Bomberman NES - So many hours on that one!
Links adventure (Zelda II) NES - I was scared of the bats in the caves and the high difficulty, never finished it
Secret of Mana SNES - Played that game to no end. Still love it today.
Final Fantasy VI SNES - For me, the pinnacle of the gold era of the rpg's
Nights into dreams Saturn - A friend had it, it really charmed me
Sonic R PC - Played it with friends, remember wishing I had a pc back then
Super mario 64 N64 - My first "next gen" game, doing many moves with mario was awesome
Goldeneye 64 N64 - Remember not knowing how to open doors, so I couldn't get past the first door where the truck stops at dam level. Lol.
Diddy kong racing 64 N64 - Rented it a lot, it was fun and hard!
Mario Kart 64 N64 - Played this one for god knows how long...
Turok the dinosaur hunter N64 - So stupidly hard for a young kid...I still liked it
Turok rage wars N64 - Played a lot with my brother
Banjo Kazooie N64 - Couldn't wait for my b-day so my parents would buy it for me, man it was amazing when I got it.
Ocarina of Time N64 - Perhaps my favorite game of all time, the first time I played through it I had a simply perfect experience.
Bomberman 64 N64 - It was hard but fun
Final Fantasy IX PSX - On my top list of favorite games of all time.
Pokémon (red) GB - Played it a week nonstop while I was sick at home.
Link's awakening DX GBC - That game was amazing, so much stuff on a little cartridge.
Shadowgate GBC - Finished it a lot of times, liked the atmosphere.
Deja 'vu I&II GBC - Helped me learn english. Stupid point and click adventures...
Grandia II Pc - Loved it, liked the battle system.
Silent Hill II Pc - A masterpiece.

Probably a lot more I don't remember now, also tried not to go too far in time with the list (so I guess Silent Hill II shouldn't be there but meh...)

Edit: forgot Goemon 64, played it in one sit from start to end because I didn't have a controller pack.
Edit 2: Also forgot Holy magic century/Quest 64 - Mediocre game that I loved for some reason.
Also, Castlevania 64
Edit 3: Technomage the return of eternity Pc.
Edit 4: star wars shadows of the empire & Lylat wars N64

Lol I think I'm listing too many of them.

Pokemon Red- First VG I ever played, absolutely loved it. Pokemon actually also helped me alot with my reading skills(I was about 5 when I got it). Blue and Yellow soon followed.
Super Smash Bros.-Saw some family friends playing this, and was absolutely captivated. It was the first game I got for the N64, and I had a blast playing it.
Donkey Kong 64-An incredibly fun game!
Pokemon Stadium- Had to get this. Seeing the pokemon I worked so hard to train in 3D? Absolutely awesome.
Banjo-Kazooie- Another awesome game, which inevitably led me to buying Banjo-Tooie.
Pokemon Gold/Silver- Two of my favorite games of all time. Had so many great times with these two! Can't wait for HG/SS.
Zelda: Oracle of Ages- The first Zelda game I ever played(missed out on OOT ) Difficult, but fun.
Super Smash Bros. Melee- Got it on its launch date, as well as the Gamecube. Surpassed the original by far, and gave me an awesome activity to do with friends.
Well, those are all my most memorable childhood games!

I think my very first game was sonic on sega genesis. Banjo was definitely a very affective game for my gaming life. Banjo and Sonic. Sonic because I would always love to play the final airplane level over and over to get to metal sonic. So awesome.

And for gamecube, Luigi's mansion, because I remember having the start screen as my computer wallpaper because my older bro. was so excited for the release of the gamecube, so the first games we got were Luigi's mansion and Pikmin. Both great games.

Super Mario Bros was the first game I beat, I beat it before anyone else in my family did.
Tetris was a game I always played on game boy.
Link to the Past got me into the whole fantasy adventure thing
Super Mario 64 was the first time I played a game in 3d, it was a huge leap forward.

Donkey Kong Country is the most nostalgic game for me by far. I have spent so many hours of my early childhood enveloped in that game.

Everything except Tetris. I never owned Tetris until I had an SNES.

Also, Tetris Attack, Tales of Destiny (amazing), and Dragon Warrior 3 was my first DW game, followed by getting Dragon Warrior Monsters 2, Tara's Adventure.

- The first game I rememberred playing was World Cup Soccer from the NES (you know, this Super Mario/Tetris/World Cup-Module).I preferred it over Super Mario and loved to see the players stumble upon these stones.
- Then the first game that didn't worked anymore, all of a sudden, was Super Mario Bros 3.I think it was the giant world my father played, the game crashed and he said "Mario is fed up with this now".I took this serious, thought Mario had it's own will.
- Then a very long break. Then:Super Mario 64.My father was awsome in it,getting the Star in the Cage (Mission 5) in Whomps Fortress just with the cannon. On the first try.Without playing this mission ever before.
-My first huge disappointment was Mario Party 1.Thought it was a Platformer, turned out to be a board game.Enjoyed it after a few weeks, though.
-My first scare:The redeads in Ocarina of Time.Nuff said.

Oh,I wish I can look at Videogames again like a child...

Exactly the same list but I add Super Metroid in the list. I feel like I should add the N64 era but I'll leave at my first games.

and correct your grammar

C'est épique.
