Starfox Adventures Oddities
And other silly things.
Anyways, I've found a few interesting things while playing the game again that you may or may not have heard of. - Tricky changes colors when you throw his ball repeatedly, and he supposedly doesn't use as many Grubtubs for moves. - Fox still has the staff even though he gave it back to Krystal at the end of the game - The SharpClaw Cannons have something written on their screens. It appears to say "You own -- the cannon is ready." I can't figure out the last word in the first line though. - None of the beacons go out in the rain, which is probably why they are "sacred" because you would have to hit them to put them out. - Fox has to throw the ball with both hands, Sabre did not. - If you go by the beta, Krystal's CloudRunner companion is called Kyte. - In the beginning of the game where you first come across Tricky (when the translator kicks in), Fox says that the EarthWalker King has been captured. He somehow knows this without anyone saying anything about the subject at all. Funnier later on how Tricky's reaction to finding this out from his mother is unchanged, although he should know this already. Just some random stuff there.

Woah, I never knew any of this. It just hit me right now. Especially the Staff thing.

I bet Tricky just has bad memory.

No, I think either Krystal tells you telepathically or a dinosaur tells you about the missing king.

I think I heard about a few of those, but some were still new to me.

The fact that the story makes little to no sense probably contributes to a few of these oddities.

Let's see. You have to rescue these Krazoa spirits in order to keep the planet together (after putting those stone things back in place, anyways). When you do, you find out that... They're actually evil or something and brings back the Krazoa God, which Andross apparently merged with or something.
It was just plain confusing. I thought the game was great, don't get me wrong, but making sense is something it didn't do.

I don't think they turned evil or anything. If you use a cheat token inside the Maze game, you'll get a message that basically says that Andross can corrupt those who are good and can manipulate others (Scales and the Krazoa respectively). It also refers to his form as a virus.

I didn't found the story confusing, juts non-fitting. But we must remember that rare had to drastically change the plot in order to bring the Star fox team into it.
Something I has always wondered. Would Scales had an actual boss fight in the original Dinosaur Planet? Because that was incredibly desappointing. also, who would have been the final boss in the original game? |

All this hype! I can almost sense a new Starfox game!

What does this have to do with Star Fox? StarFox is Nintendo. ;_;
Maybe Rare would be able to do some awesome stuff with it though...

More things, some I'm fairly sure most of you know about.
-The dark wall directly across from the entrance to the Scarab Mini Game room is fake. Run through it to find a rock with three, ten value scarabs underneath. -There is a BafomDad hidden underneath Krazoa Palace that can be accessed as Krystal via a ladder. The ladder is found in a corner of the platform where the first wall is blown up. -If you fail so hard at the beginning of the game as Krystal that your health goes down to one "heart," the heavy breathing she'll make when idle is identical to Fox's later in the game. - You can only speak with your team mates in major areas. This option is unavailable in "transitional" areas in which you travel from one major point (ie: Thorntail Hollow) to another (ie: Moon Mountain Pass). - Striking Tricky too many times (accidental or otherwise) will result in him attacking you. - Returning to Lightfoot Village after retrieving its Krazoa Spirit will give you the opportunity to track down three sets of Lightfoot children in exchange for various rewards. - Interestingly, female members of each tribe are quite hard to come bye. There is one female EarthWalker, one female CloudRunner, one female Lightfoot, one female Thorntail, two female SnowHorns, and no female Hightops, SharpClaw, or RedEye. - The Thorntail near the WarpStone is the mother of the DragonRock GateKeeper. - The Lightfoot tribe is the only tribe who's spoken dialogue (if subtitles are turned on) is written phonetically (ie: "Keel" rather than "Kill"). This does not occur anywhere else in the game, even with characters it would make sense for (the Warpstone).
