Also: Guitar Hero World Tour (the music just wasn't as good).
Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater: It wasn't terrible but it wasn't as good as I expected.
Mass Effect: I can't really put my finger on it, but I just loved KOTOR way more.
Twilight Princess: Again, not terrible, but didn't hold a candle to OoT, MM, or Link To The Past (at least IMO).

I get home. I play it.
Within 10 minutes of boarding the train, I've arrived in SNOREVILLE, located west from the city of BOREDOM.
No item box made me rage, too.
I agree.
This game bored the shit out of me after a while. I got pretty far in, but the inventory system annoyed me. I had no problems with it in RE-RE3, but this one was frustrating. The puzzles also sucked.

Zack & Wiki. I played it up until the first boss area or whatever, and got stuck and became bored with trying to figure it out soon after. I was very annoyed with the flimsy Wiimote acting up on practically everything I did, the camera usually zoomed too far out of view for what I was trying to see, and I just wasn't getting into the game's world at all. And, dear God, that friggin' monkey would never shut up.

I'm a big Point-and-Click fan, and this game was a huge let down for me because I was hoping for something good, given the hype machine created by IGN and such to buy the thing.

Also, the Sam & Max Wii conversion was no good game either. But, I'm going after the actual port job here, not the content; things load slow, get clipped, choppy, and I found it to be barely playable. I don't think I'm even past the first episode on it yet. The PC version is only ~$10, I'm just about tempted to repurchase it and sell the crappy Wii version.

Lol, wall of text reply.

Heh, My Sims for the Wii.

I thought heck it's bound to be OK.

To sum the game up in a small paragraph.
You go to a town, which is almost empty. You need to regain residents by making the town more appealing to residents, such as making furniture with these "essences".
The game is Dejavu over and over, and not in a good way. You need to collect essences, build furniture, get more residents, do their chores, then rinse and repeat.
It's garbage. Creativity is promoted, but still it's lost by generic blueprints given.

They were good, yes, but they are by far not what I excepted.Especially A Link To The Past. This game was so lifeless and sterile,so medicore for me.The intro and the first aghanim fight are epic, though.
And I still hate most graphics in Super Mario World, although the game mechanic and exploration is great.Oh,and-American Football players simply doesn't belong in a mario game.
You sir have just killed me inside. Super Mario World, and A Link to the Past made me. Out of all top down Zelda adventures, A Link to the Past is a top rank for me and an instant classic, it's travel between universes is amazing. Sure it would be ruined if you had played Ocarina of Time or Twilight Princess before it. Because i can agree that to some extent it works in a similar way. "Collect 3/4 items, think it's over, plot twist, collect some more items."

Super Mario World was my first real Mario game, it had everything it needed. Challenge, variety and a fresh look on the Mario franchise. I don't know how football players ruin the game, to me they were a more challenging characters and a change from the generic Koopas and Goombas that roam the land.

It was a good game, for the price at least. No one will buy the game. It's irritating with the constant perfection you need to complete the game, one error can cause you to die and restart from the beginning. Or cause you to have to replay the level just to gain a perfect score. I found the game was pretty good if you played it on and off, it could not be accomplished on a longer play through or you are just going to aggravate yourself too much during the process and it's not worth the trouble.

You had ANY expectations for ghoulies? I thought it was impossible to be let down by it, after all the bad rep it gets. It was one of the best suprises I had ever gotten.

Wii games, all of 'em, the wii in general, I suppose the only exception is Metroid Prime 3.
Kodu Game builder, although fun, it's not really the LBP replacement I've been looking for....

It was just his opinion. I don't entirely agree with it, but there's no need to get bent out of shape about it.

Fable 2's ending is so anti-climactic it's almost suicidally irritating. I swear no epic boss fight?

STORY TIME EXPLANATION!

"OH HERO PLX SHOT THE BAD GAI"

*HERO SHOTS BAD GUY*

"THANK YOU HERO, BE PICKING A NEW LIFE! GREED, DOGGY, OR BRING EVERYONE BACK TO LIFE AND LEAVE YOURSELF WITH NOTHING"

And Portal, that game deserved so much more, even if it didn't really have an ending. I' GLaD it's getting a sequel though.

Final Fantasy V and Final Fantasy VII. V is boring and not fun and VII is so tedious that the game play totally makes me not enjoy the awesome storyline. Every other Final Fantasy is great though *cough*IV*cough*.

Personally I think RE5 suffered from the same problem as RE0. I DID like RE0 but it never felt particularly frightening (it had it's moments but nothing as scary as RE1 on the GC) and I think that's because of the partner-system. Part of the thing that made RE so scary to me was that feeling of being alone...I can see how RE0's doing-away with the item boxes could piss some people off though...
