Apparently Nintendo is going to Iraq very soon...
Sotoru Iwata has stated that Nintendo of Japan is going to set up a few thousand wireless stations and give everyone in Iraq a Wii for free. After the new firmware update, Iraq will be installed with new Wiimocracy!!. With Wiimocracy!! your country's government will be able to sort out any problems they have using the Wii's revolutionary motion controls. Death toll in the hundreds of thousands each year? Just point your Wii remote at Rufus, the Wiimocracy!! president and your urge to blow shit up will be instantly quelled (Note: This feature is exclusive to terrorists). Is your country's economy in the shitter? Not to worry, Wiimocracy!! prints money!
Installing Wiimocracy!! is simple. Just set up your Wii with an internet connection (Nintendo will provide internet to Iraq as well) and your Wii will automatically receive a firmware update (Note: the update could possibly take up to 2 or 3 years to install). Once every Iraqi has received their firmware update, Iraq will effectively become the best country in the world. Wiimocracy!! might fail though, which is why Nintendo has opted to try it out on Iraq first. |

Is this a serious thread?
I've been to Iraq, BTW, if it is. Hopefully you pronounce it "Eerok" like the natives and not "eye rak" |

They have more things they need rather than Wii. If Nintendo is really doing this...

I didn't mean the pronunciation, I know how to pronounce it, I do originate from around there. I meant what difference does it make that you've been there if it was a serious thread?

This sounds like a great idea except for the printing money and subsequent inflation.

The money is printed in limits... and since it's the Wii, it won't cost any money to print the money, because Wii can do everything.

It'd have been much better to say that inflation is good for the lower classes. Heck, it's what the Populist Party wanted in the ol' days.Either way let's not get into a non-serious debate.
