What Internet Trend Needs to Die?

This is inspired by someone I can't remember right now, but I do not take credit for the idea, so sorry whoever I'm stealing from, although I know it was on YouTube, not here.

Okay, there are a lot of internet trends, and which are you completely sick of?

It can be any sort of thing that's popular on the internet, including websites.

For me, it's a few.

1. Facebook- It was never as easy to use as MySpace, and only became popular because of all the kids on MySpace, so people think Facebook is for "grown ups", both are completely stupid, but I prefer MySpace.

2. Twitter- It is the most ignorant, stupidest, pointless idea for a website I have ever seen. MySpace and Facebook already have the status update, which is literally all that twitter is. It would be like MySpace or Facebook if you took out everything except that. And I'm sorry, but I don't need to know when you're going to work, reading a book, or taking a shit, and it's getting out of hand, people get into car wrecks and tweet it before they call the cops.

3. The First Comment Game- This game is what, 2 years old? Yet I still see it everywhere I go, who gives a flying **** if you got the first comment? Congratulations, you sat there refreshing until it showed up, and wasted your comment to tell everyone that you were there first, so what. I just hate seeing because most of the time, they're far from first, and they say that instead of saying anything remotely relevant to the topic, which is obnoxious.

4. Bob- You may have seen this little stick figure around followed by something like "This is Bob, copy and paste him so he can take over blah blah blah", I think it's stupid, it was always stupid, and what would be the point in him taking over? There wouldn't be, and that's why it's stupid.

5. Bad Grammar- This one isn't really a trend in the normal sense, but it is one because most people on the internet don't know how to write correctly. It's just frustrating to me because, I pride myself on correctly spelling things, and following the rules of grammar, not in a nerdy way, but because that is the language, and people don't even know it anymore. It's made even more pathetic by the fact that almost everywhere you go is a spell checker, yet people still have typos. You is spelled with three letters, not one, there is a difference between you're and your, and capitalization and punctuation matter, and it's just annoying seeing things completely butchered, because all I picture is some 5 year old trying to be vulgar. "Ur ***, and gurls dont like ur fayse." I don't know, I just know I'm not the only one who is bothered by this.

It's an easy solution too, read a book, be smart, don't be that 5 year old who is too young to be playing Halo, thank you, good day.

Well, this turned into a rant, but I'm still curious to see if you guys agree, and what you are getting sick of online.

Oh, and to do you all a favor, this is the correct way to spell "douche", as in "douche bag".

Not "doushe", not "deusche", trust me on this, even the spell checker thinks I'm right.

And this is the correct way to spell "definitely", which is another one I see butchered ALL the MFing time.

They're not trends, but I agree with Twitter being pointless and poor grammar simply needs to DIE (woo, you've just constructed half a message that is incomprehensible and unintelligible).
