Smile Harry Potter *possible spoilers*

What do you guys think about the book series? I love them so much, the Deathly Hallows is definitely my favorite because it's so well written, and it ties everything together. It seems like J.K. Rowling planned it all out from the beginning seeing as some unsolved things from the first few movies were solved by the end. This is not a movie discussion thread, by the way.

I think most people feel that way, although it seems like people in my sister's college are obsessed with the book.

I still like them. They were done very well, the layers she used etc.

I read Deathly Hallows recently, after seeing the latest film, because I wanted to remember where it is all heading. It's still pretty enjoyable. Well that one anyway, as it's a bit darker than the rest I suppose. She's created a very interesting world however, and that's why the whole series works so well.

Spoiler: (highlight to view)
Snape kills Dumbledore

I think it's overrated, but a great read none-the-less.

Dumbledore = Gandalf as a school principal. Fact.

Honestly, I've only read the first three books, and even that was about five years ago. I've seen a few of the movies and they were okay. I'm not saying Harry Potter is a bad series but it really should have ended a long time ago.

Maybe there will be 8th book, but it will be just spin-off. HP series ends with 7th book.

A very well created story, though the writing was mostly towards a young audience.

The movies took for a older audience though, it seems. Perhaps the last movie will be released with a M rating.

I want to see a quidich online game for muggles. Think of the all the XBL members young and old joining just to play quiditch. I'd play with that quaffle.

The plots are good but they are terribly written. As Stephen King said 'she hasn't found an adverb she doesnt like' and the epilogue of deathly hallows made me want to throw up.
