Alright then, (LOLZ Avoided possible Ace Ventura reference) I'm trying to write top 10's for the sake of doing something.
Can you guys rate my list and see what you think of it?

WORST VIDEO GAME ENDINGS!!!!!!!

Killer Instinct (SNES,Arcade)
Alright. Firstly, you spend your money on the game. You drive home from the store that you bought it from speculating what the game was like. You get home and love it. You practice for what seems like days, you've been looking up moves breaking your fingers trying them out, THEN, your ready. You go spend 15 minutes beating everyone when you get up to Eyegore. "ALL RIGHT! LAST GUY" you say, so excited about what's to come. You pass those moments on the edge of your seat, knowing your nearly there. You get that long combo in and then...."YES!!!". How relieving. You did it! Finally! Nothing's more satisfying then watching him sink into boiling hot lava. You are just about to cry in happiness when you see this message:

"Congratulations! You have defeated Ultratech's low end, garbage, obsolete weak, floor model, on the verge of extinction, barely mobile, can only do a five hit combo, pathetic, yesterday's news end boss.
I hope your happy with yourself!
Maybe you should up the stakes for a real challenge."

Well, that's deppressing.
i'm not saying the game's bad, just one let down of an ending.
Yes, technically the game DOES have good endings when you try a harder difficulty, but THAT IS TOO HARD.

But seriously, a huge, HUGE, let down of an ending.

Kingdom Hearts (PS2)

Now now, no flaming.
This is on the list, well, because, when you think about it, you just spent 40 hrs on this game trying to rescue Riku and King Mickey just to find them and loose them again! You look me in the face and tell me that's not frustrating.
Yes, yes, I know, this left room for an elite sequel (make that sequels) that left heaps of speculation afterwards. Now, don't get me wrong, the second ending, phew. Perfection. But the fact is I don't want a bad ending just because I play bad.

Wow. I need a rest. Tell me what you think while I get the rest.

I just don't get why people flame Halo 2's ending so much.I thought it was pretty good actually.I can't imagine what kind of ending does anyone possibly want

A let down when I finished all achievments for Bioshock, but unavoidable (no multiplayer!? aww...).

BTW. You should add a spoiler warning in the title.

Edit: what about the fake ending half way through Portal? The one with the furnace.

OMG yes BioShock. That was a huge letdown for me. I am praying the sequel does a better job of wrapping things up.

For a game with such a rich atmosphere and engaging sotry, the ending was way too abrupt.
