Hard Drive NTFS Problem

Ok so I currently have Ubuntu 9.04 Jaunty Jackalope on my Desktop, taking up the whole drive. I want to reinstall my Windows Vista (For the Win7 upgrade) using my restore disk. Problem is, Linux isn't formatted in NTFS, so Vista won't install. How do I make my HDD NTFS again?

Save the Linux > Vista, and Vista Sux Ballz crap for another thread.

In the Windows Vista installer, when you select the drive, click the Format button and it will reformat the hard drive to NTFS. You will lose all of your data on the drive. You can also make an NTFS partition on the drive and install Windows to that, keeping your Linux install intact.

Ubuntu isnt bad at all. I just prefer Windows a bit more. Linux is almost good enough for me, but theres some things that still bug me (Looks like a Toy OS). Anyways, I figured it out . Thanks Jason. I did a similar method, I just ran Ubuntu off the CD and formatted it in Ubuntu.
