Wii games worth owning?
There are plenty of Wii games out there. I know that there a quite a few gems that I'm missing out on. If you could maybe give suggestions on Wii games that are worth paying full retail price for and not renting for a week? Here's a list of Wii games I have so far:
The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Super Paper Mario Super Mario Galaxy Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Super Smash Bros. Brawl Mario Kart Wii Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Which I find boring but it was a gift) WiiWare suggestions are welcome too, but you can lay off the VC games. I have most of the good ones ![]()

Since you said Wiiware, World of Goo. It's definately worth the $15 dollars.
I'd say Punch-Out, but it's a bit short for buying full price.

Definitely considering World of Goo. I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'd rather have another remote and nunchuck for Mario Strikers. Dunno about Madden. I've never played any Madden game before. Already have Okami on my to-buy list.
As for No More Heroes, I rented it and beat it in a week. Good game, but I wouldn't buy it.

World of Goo is fantastic. It's an original, and having played it on PC and on Wii... go with the Wii version.
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition Pikmin Even though they're both gamecube re-releases... I bought them twice and didn't regret it.

Oh yeah, don't forget to pick up Red Steel 2. That game might be the game that makes me love the Wii.
And the new Capcom VS. game, although I think it should be an add-on to MvC 2.

Rabbids Go Home (I've heard good things about this game, the music especially)
A Boy and His Blob (This is meant to be really good too) Metroid Prime Trilogy (If you have Prime or Echoes, consider it. If you have both of them, it isn't worth it) Excitebots (unless you live in the PAL region, it wasn't released here) Bomberman Blast (One of the best Wiiware titles, great for parties) Megaman 9 (If you are a Megaman fan, I highly recomend this) That's some of the good games people haven't mentioned already. Oh, and consider Wii Sports Resort. Motion+ will come in handy for Red Steel 2 and Zelda Wii.

RE4: Wii Edition.
Yes it's a port, but if you don't have the GC version, it's worth picking up, mainly for the extra features like Seperate Ways. |
