So, I'm considering repurchasing a Wii...

But I'm teetering on the edge, I got to play New Super Mario Bros. Wii today, and I got to see a glimpse of Nintendo's fantastic design of yester-year.

With games like Punch-Out and NSMB, that take tried and true formulas and just update them, I've seen Nintendo actually becoming interesting to me again.

So, Nintendo fanboys of RWP, can you convince me to buy a Wii again ? I hate WiiConnect24, the internet service is awful, I'm not interested in Virtual Console games, but am pretty interested in the homebrew aspect of the Wii.

Have at it, see if you can sway me.

The homebrew will definitely make the Wii more interesting when you're done with the games you want, but only if you want to keep checking up on Wiibrew.org/Hackmii.com on when to update your Wii ect. Pretty much every Nintendo update now is only to try and stop homebrew, but the Team of hackers normally have workarounds a few days after.

Also Remember there is also SMG2 and Metriod another M to be released.

Also, the online isn't horrible, most developers are just lazy when it comes to it. Some developers like High Voltage Software are really taking advantage of it though.

Red Steel and The Conduit were very generic shooters, so I don't care for them, I've already played Okami, and I'm not interested in gimmicky mini-game filled casual games, like the Rabbid games.

The Metroid Prime trilogy is great, I'm sure, but I've played all three of them several times. It would be fun to play Prime 1 on the wii though. Zelda is compelling, and so is Mario Galaxy 2, however.

Oh remember there is a black colour you can buy now.

Black colour = awesome but as soon as they stop selling they will make more colours and then after that they will give the new wiis with dvd video playing ability which the wii already has through homebrew. Then "Wii HD".

If you want games that will last you a long time, go for Mario Kart, Brawl, And NSMBWii
