So about two hours ago, my friend yells at me over windows live that I send him a spam email. He forwards it to me and it was sent to my entire address book, and it was one of those generic spam emails.. I know I didn't send this, and around the same time I had to re-login to my yahoo account. I normally only need to do that every 2 weeks..
I scanned my computer and there were no viruses.. Whats up, could someone of hacked my yahoo account and sent an email out through it, or could a virus of done it from my computer?

Chances are pretty high that it wasn't a virus, but that somebody got your password through phishing or hacking your Yahoo account. In fact, you having to relogin into Yahoo is probably how the spammer got your password in the first place. Just go through and change all of your passwords, and it should stop by itself.

You're lucky your password wasn't changed by the phisher.

This happened to me in 11th grade. It's why I got gmail. I changed my password but it still kept happening. Yahoo blows.
