One thing I would have loved in BFD would have been a level editor/creator. Think about it! The prospect of making huge bases 3 6 floors high and they being able to jump out of the sniper tower and run down the side of a cliff (you can do this in Total War. simply go to the place where you get the sniper rifle and jump off on the the cliff face opposite. If done right you should land further down. (losing 1 hp in the process))

That would be cool! I would re-create levels from BK BT and other games so you can have total war on them! Just imagine... Machine guns being shot like crazy on Mumbos Mountain... That would be soooo coool.

what if there is a way....

anyway, how could you recreate mumbos mountain EXACTLY how the original was? that would be freaken hard! [unless you transfer data or something like that.]

I don't know... what if you tell Rare to put in a level editor in the new game and see if they use the idea! It could work!

I wish it worked that way. They say that they can't use our ideas because of "legal issues." It's the same with a lot of companies.

psaw.. thats a load of bul! how can they not do that!!

although... it might work if all of us send it stuff to tell them to do that. I mean, thats why they brought back loggo and Crankey in the past.... because they were popular.

So if we find out how fans did that stuff.... then we might find a way somehow.

I think this is what the legal issues is all about...

I send Rare an idea... then they use that idea... then I say "You stole my idea, now I shall sue you!!!"

If a level editor was made, it would probably only let you build a level with pre-made objects... sort of like in TimeSplitters 2. Creating an actual level like Mumbo's Mountain requires a heck of a lot of work to make

The level editors they use in games like BFD, BK, etc. look like they are similar to the Tomb Raider one.

Except the horizontal system aint in blocks like TR.
