I can't believe it. Yesterday I went to the town where I pre-ordered my Xbox 360. It was set to come out March 2nd. On the window is a sign saying: 'New Xbox 360 Release Date. (Ask inside for more details)' Now it doesn't come out till March 23rd!!!!! I'm so angry.

So this isn't just the ramblings of a mad man discuss delays that have made you angry here.

I know the feeling of going all the way to the store just to find out that their shipment got "delayed". It's happened to me on more than one occassion. When you really want something, and you finally have that free moment to play, it's not there... It can really burn you up. I can imagine that it's even worse when you're waiting for a new console!

Wind Waker. It was delayed for an extra week at my local Gamestop, and believe me I was furious. Another game i'm waiting on? The Megaman collection for the Gameboy (includes MM1-5 for the GB plus some bonuses) It was supposed to be out at about the same time as the versions for the GCN and PS2. Now? We'll be lucky if it comes out before 20XX.

That happens to me quite regularily

Take the fact that I live in a desolate no-man's land, coupled with the fact that the delivery guy for EB Games arrives with a shipment "when he feels like it"

My reserved copy of Wind Waker got picked up by somone else. I don't know how they could give it to someone with a diffrent name.

That's terrible! Did they give you an extra copy without hassle or some sort of compensation? If not I'd take my business elsewhere. I said the same thing to repobanjo.

Luckily, when my parents preordered my D.S for Christmas two years ago, they yelled at the people because they had a sale for less on the day it came out, so I got an extra-cheap D.S! Oh yeah S.W.A.T, find that guy and kill him, he had your copy!

Apparentl he had the same name as me and things got "mixed up". I can't take my business elsewhere because all other gamestops and EBgames are far away in Northern Queens. Then I'd have nowhere to sell games. And I had to wait a week for another shipment to come in.

Oh yeah? Well, at the rate the place I preordered mine is going, I won't get mine till Christmas.

Thing is, they haven't gotten any new shipments since this past Christmas. :extremely mad:

See, this is when corporate buisnesses like to toy around with you. They supposedly "never got it", or "Didn't recieve the payment". This will just get you more to want the game, and you will still be hanging around with it. Exactly what Gamefly did to me.

Well, really, doesn't that have something to do with why Banjo came out soon? People & nintendo wanted the game *Right Now* and then they had to drop SnS for lack of time? Perhaps I just heard that somewhere. That's the reason I never get too antsy for games to come out anymore. I don't want another game with a removed feature, for lack of time! I just keep reminding myself of the Banjo release date issue...grrr. I should stop thinking about it! No, perhaps it's just the late-night caffeine kicking in...

^ It wasn't Bk's release date that F'ed up SNS if it was they would have cut out the Mumbo ending but thats for a different topic. Anyway that's sucks about your Xbox 360 but look on the bright side you will get one eventually, and when you do there price for the game you want might have dropped a bit.

I already own Perfect Dark: 0 (also a Faceplate and Wireless Controller) and have had since January. I've just found out the games and accessories for it still come out March 2nd so instead of waiting till the 23rd (if games are on special) like's smart I'm going to get all the accessories I don't have (or won't be getting in the pack) and another couple of games on Sunday. So on Sunday I should have: Perfect Dark Zero, 1 Wireless controller, 1 Face place, 1 Wireless Network Adapter, 1 Xbox Live Headset, Kameo and possibly the NBA game that's available (forgotten the name ).

Then all I have to do is wait till March 23rd when I get my console (with Wireless controller and Hard Drive) to use it all
