The reason why there's no Fungus Forest

Hi everyone.
First, sorry for my English (I'm French). This is my first post in this forum and I haven't found a topic where I can put this...

Like every Banjo-Kazooie fans, I'm looking for stuffs about the beta worlds. I've read many fan's theories and made my own analysis.

The point I want to discuss with you is the reason why Rare leaves Fungus Forest :

Until the last week, I believed they put this world away because of his huge size. We know that Fungus became more or less Fungi and that Fungi is a huge level, just like all DK64's levels. And if you think, like me, that a part of Fungus became Clanker's Cavern though the world's name was not [name-of-the-fleshy-fish]'s Forest, you can come to the conclusion that this level was really big, too big to put 15 other worlds in the game.

But the last week, I've think about another reason :
Since Fungus became more or less Fungi, there is some stuff that were in Fungus. Someone observed that the Fungi's tomatoes have eyes and were alive, which not match with the DK universe but with the B-K universe. So we can think that those tomatoes were Fungus Forest's enemies.
I think that all of the mushroom looking stuff was in Fungus Forest. The wells, the jumpers, the plat-forms... even this big tower in one zone of Fungi.
If I'm remember well, there were a giant magic beans in the back of the farm (I've played DK64 a long time ago and there's no map of Fungi on the net, so I'm based on my memory).

Giant apple, giant worm, giant tomatoes, giant beans, giant mushrooms... (and for those who are agree with the Fungus became Clanker theory, giant fish) You see what I mean ?

I think Fungus Forest was not just a huge level, it was a level based on the Giant's theme. In other words, Fungus was made when the main villain was the Giant and match with him. When Gruntilda came, Fungus wasn't in the right universe anymore.

However, you can see giant vegetables in our B-K's Spiral Mountain. If you want my opinion, the coincidence is to big to be just a coincidence. I think the Spiral Mountain's onions, carrots, and cabbages were in Fungus Forest, just like the tomatoes.

What you think about that ? (I hope no one has already done this analysis in this forum... If it's the case, I've rote all this for nothing...)

Err... no... not at all
Giant's Lair was Giant's Lair.

I just mean that Fungus Forest was probably based on the Giant's theme (not Giant's Lair). I mean, I think that all in this forest were giant to match with the Giant (instead of the Witch now). And I think the Fungus Forest's enemies were Onions, Cabbages, Carrot and Tomatoes...

This is just a theory based on what I've seen in B-K and DK64, but I think it have sens.

To be honest im happy it was carried over to dk64, I loved dk64 more than bk, but not more than banjo tooie. Dk had a way of thrrowing more at you every level than bk, Im pretty happy with the hours I spent on that level. However I do care more about the banjo azkooe one because ive never seen it and Im obsessed with rares secrecy, I just want to see these levels lol, they must have them in storage somewhere haha.

I want to push my theory further, but I have to confirm something first :

We know that those pictures with the Giant's castle front and the big knocking door was not Mount Fire Eyes' pictures. But have we got proofs that it was Giant's Lair's pictures ?
Does official informations stats this or is this just a fan's guess ?

Hi, you speak very good English as a second language. I wish I could have a chance to practise my German.

Thanks ^^ (play FF6 with the language you want to learn and you will make some progress ... this game only came out in English on playstation).

OK, so I will tell you why I want to know if the "Castle picture = Giant's Lair" is fact or theory :

I've heard the four notes we can listening in the Spanish video where Banjo and Kazooie climb the front of a castle. If you listening to it closely and compare it with the Fungi Forest's music in DK64, you'll realize that the four notes are the part at the 28th second of the Fungi's music. This lead me to two possibilities :

1 - If the "Yellow castle's front = Giant's Lair" is fact, then the Fungus' song was a default music played when Rare didn't put music yet. And so Clanker wasn't necessary in Fungus Forest because the song isn't a proof anymore.

2 - If the "Yellow castle's front = Giant's Lair" is a fan's theory, then this castle's front can be something else. My previous theory says that Fungus Forest was actually the Giant's garden (with his giant vegetables). So if we continue in this way, we can think that this castle front was the back side of the Giant's castle and a part of Fungus Forest... just like in a real garden where you can see the back side of your house. Or else, this castle's front could also be the side of a structure that surround the garden.

I know this is just a theory, but the more I think about it, the more it makes sens to me because it explains the Fungus song on the castle's video, the giant tomatoes in Fungi Forest, and the giant fish (Beta Clanker) with the Fungus song.

In the first place, I said "no, not at all"... But now... with this Spanish video, I start to believe that the place we thought it was a beta Spiral Mountain was actually Fungus Forest !

That's a very plausible theory. I would beleive that. Well done.
