Super Mario Brothers 3 Never Happened

Discuss. Never noticed any of that before. With Mario 2 never happening, and now Mario 3 never happening, makes you wonder if Mario is really a hero at all  .

I noticed, but never really gave it much thought.
For that matter, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat never happened either. The "stage show" setup is the same.

I made a Mario timeline once and used that as my argument that SMB3 isn't canon and shouldn't be considered a Mario game
