Rapidly Firing Grenade Eggs
I was playing multiplayer (on N64) with my sister earlier, when we came to a shootout in Targitzan's Temple.
So I'm going around to shoot at her when she's shooting fire eggs, and then suddenly she's spewing grenades at least 2/second. I retreated for a moment, and the rest of the match is not relevant to the discussion. Let it be noted, anyway, that I won. She was at first unsure of how she did this. We experimented later, and it turns out if you're shooting blue or fire eggs, and maybe ice or proximity (which we didn't try) and change to grenade eggs while continuing to fire, you will be able to fire them with amazing rate of fire. Of course, this is largely impractical unless you have horrible aim, but it's kind of funny to have all those explosions hitting the opponent so quickly. So yes. I found this intriguing. Did anybody already know and not invite me to join the party?

I think I discovered this in the Mayahem Temple Lobby. But I'm not sure if it works in single player. I'll go check.
