Has a game ever caused you emotional grief?
Or similar?
The one and only time was when I first played Conker's BFD, during the war part I felt tears sting my eyes when the last Squirrel Grunt was mercilessly cut down by Tediz machine gun fire.

LOZ: Majora's Mask
The whole game is dark, creepy and heartwarming all at the same time. |

Go
^ I agree with this.
Sonic Adventure, believe it or not. Some parts are really sad... like when Gamma dies or the flashback with Tails and Sonic... some parts make me really nostalgic, too. ________ Nexium Lawsuit Information Last edited by Galactic Mario; 10th May 2011 at 01:47 PM. |

ok. time to come clean. When you release Pikachu in 'Hey You, Pikachu!', it's very emotional. Tears may have formed. But then he came back. Happy ending

Runescape. There was one time when i had super great dreams of killing the games (then) highest lvl monster to get a cape made out of lava. Two and a half years later I could give a hoot about it.

Lost Odyssey made me get teary-eyed. Also, the ending of Bioshock 2, good ending, was very touching for me as well.

Drawn to Life pretty much scarred me for at least a week.
And then there's Hey You, Pikachu's ending... Which I promptly burst into tears at... So, Bbundy, you are not alone, my good chum.

The ending of Conker's BFD is the saddest thing I've seen in a video game. And the music or lack thereof in the credits makes it even sadder. Although its hard to feel bad for Conker, seeing as he is a murderer. He killed those two guys with the dynamite strapped to their backs just to remove plane reckage in the war segment. And no one forced him to go into the bank and kill all those guards.

Nope. I hope I'm not that predictable.

Ghosts and Goblins. Unless you don't count wanting to punch babies as emotional grief.

How the hell has no one mentioned Mother 3?
Spoiler: (highlight to view)
Had Lucas not been wearing the Franklin Badge, Claus wouldn't have died.

I've never cried during a game, but I certainly felt sad for and sympathized with some characters.
