Question Wax museums

I think wax museums are so strange. First off, mannequins frighten me as is. Do we really need fake bodies showing us what clothes would look like on a person? Isn't that why stores have dressing rooms? Anyways, wax statues are on a higher level of creepy. I can relate with statues made out of steel or broze when people are dead to honor their good deeds in life, or whatever, but wax? Most of the time, they don't even resemble who they're supposed to be. There's something about about them that really makes me feel uncomfortable. Is this irrational? Do some people worship wax statues?
To see what the eff I'm referring to, see link.

PS- if you look closely, the statues' eyes look red as shit.

I personally have several wax models in my home that I tend to 'worship' and sacrifice small children to.

Everyone worships them.

Not only that, most mannequins are not an accurate portrayal of what an average, healthy human body should look like.

On topic, wax museums are scary as hell. My parents love them, though. They took me to a wax museum and showed me Wax Jesus. I cried.

I saw Whoopie Goldberg as a wax model. She looked so real and well made, I thought she was at first. .///.

I find wax statues really creepy. That makes them cool.

If I ever get a mansion, I'm gonna have a room dedicated to wax statues set up so that they look like they're watching you.

Models of people. It feels like someone is there but they really aren't.

Lifeless objects with the human figure. It makes it feel like you're being watched or they're gonna spring at you any minute.

Don't feed the troll. No one likes wax statues. Game over.

I'd rather have wax statues placed randomly throughout the house.

You'd have to have the AC running all year 'round so they don't melt.

Thanks for the most redundant post on RWP I've ever seen.

How are heights scary? They're just really high up places...
