Well, it was time I made a topic for it anyways; I hope I don't get beat up just because I made a Sonic topic. Anyways, in case none of you have heard, Sonic X aired in Japan sometime around mid-April, and recently aired on FoxBox (yes, the station overrun by French bastards who completely ruined the Kirby anime). Hopefully some of you have seen or at least heard of it before. So far, two episodes have aired, and another one is going to air tomorrow (I bought the Japanese Sonic X DVD - which has four complete episodes - so I wouldn't have to wait for the episodes to air in the states). As time passes and more episodes air, I'll post the summaries for each episode:
Episode 1
JAPAN - Enter Supersonic Hedgehog!
USA - Chaos Control Freaks!
While on a mission to save Cream the Rabbit, Sonic and his friends are caught in a massive Chaos Control caused by the menacing Dr. Eggman. The next thing Sonic knows, he finds himself in a world full of humans. He doesn't have much time to stare at everyone, though, because the police don't take him much too kindly. After several minutes of being taunted by a speeding hedgehog, the police call out the S Group, whose leader is Sir Sidar Speedway. Using their high-speed go-karts, they chase Sonic down the highway but are soon outrun by their netro-powered F1 cars. Being too careless about speeding away, Sonic flies off the end of the highway and above the city, and ends up into a swimming pool. This wouldn't have been so bad if he could swim. Just as it looks like Sonic is about to die a watery death, he is saved by a kid who happened to be awake at the moment, thus beginning Sonic's new adventures in this new world.
Episode 2
JAPAN - Infiltrate! Area 99!
USA - Sonic to the Rescue!
Sonic is introduced to Chris Thorndyke and his grandfather, Chuck Thorndyke. They get off at a rough start, but while watching TV, Sonic discovers that Cream the Rabbit has been taken to a military falicity, called Area 99. He allows Chris and Chuck to lead him there. After several minutes of Sonic infiltrating the base and dodging cameras, the power in the building goes out for some reason. He uses this as his advantage, and breaks in the laboratory and gets Cream (with her chao friend Cheese) the hell out of there. Cream thinks Sonic caused the power shortage, but before Sonic could answer, the power goes on, and the cameras appear to be shooting lasers at the two (to quote Sonic - "SH*T!"). Sonic destroys a few several of them, but his attacks aren't enough. Looks like luck is smiling upon them, because a large group of mechanical paper airplanes take care of the cameras for them. Sonic and Cream climb up a crumbling line of stairs and crash right through the ceiling, and lucky are caught by Tails and the Tornado. They head back to Chris's house. Soon after, however, after the introductions, Sonic and Tails realize that Dr. Eggman could have been transported to this strange world after all. What would happen next?
