Reports from the internet today have stated Rare will announce that Banjo Kazooie 3 will be revealed at this years E3 in May.

Reports from the internet. It makes me wonder where they actually heard this.

Anyway it would be good to see a new Banjo game but I won't be getting it as I don't have an Xbox 360 and I'm not buying one for one game. Although people who played the original two will buy it, I think that some of todays gamers won't want it because it seems to 'childish'.

It just seems to me that Rare hasnt done as well on the Xbox because it has a different audience and they don't like things that look like cartoons as they think they are childish.

All I can do though is wait until what they release for the DS. Hopefully some will be mentioned at E3. Maybe Banjo-Threeie will be made for the Xbox and DS.

At this point I think it could go either way. They've been doing DS development for a while now, so that's possible. It would be nice to finally see a DS game from them, and Banjo would do better on there than the Xbox. Especially if they actually use the DS's touch features in a unique way.

On the other hand, I've been waiting a long time to see Banjo on modern hardware. After all, the DS is like a handheld N64. I'd much prefer to see them do to Banjo what they did to CBFD. Not that I'm suggesting a remake, but Spiral Mountain would look so beautiful on the 360...

Personally i hope it's for the Xbox 360. We already know Rare can do some excellent work on the 360. Now it's time for them to push it to it's limits and what better to do it with than Banjo?

If a Banjo game on the 360 was done right I believe it'll have the potential to become one of the systems most notable games.

I LOVED BK, like everyone else here. Hell, the only people that truly love the Banjo series are still here supporting it. But Mario 64 has a special place in my gaming heart. It's just sooo damn.....good. I recently saw the speed runs of it, and now I want to play it even more.

With all the April fools talk, it got me into BK/BT too, but I havn't seen any speedrun videos of them. Are any of them good?

Anyways about the B3 thing. PLEASE GOD reveal something at E3, and let Rare put some Stop and Swop stuff in it! A character that we can wonder about (like blackeye), a damn whiteboard (GBTG) or hell, give us the damn answer to it all! But most of all, let them reveal something, and it should be good. Banjo fans have been waiting a hell of a long time for a console Banjo.

About getting the game. I'll wait until it comes out, wait about a week after the release and see what you guys have to say about it. If you guys give positive stuff, which you probably would, I'll rent a 360 and B3. At Blockbuster, its 30 bucks to rent for a week I think.

E3 '06 has the potential to be awesome if Rare decides to annouce B3. Remember: they said they were going to announce two new console games.

No one knows that the second one is. Some people think it'll be Sabreman Stampede (the Kameo manual mentions "the Stampede team" in its "thanks" section), but, personally, I think it'll be a game based on one of their more popular franchises. Which is where Banjo comes in. It could also be a curveball, a la GbtG, which nobody saw coming.

Well GBTG gave references to SNS and B-K, some evil ones, so it could be possible that its coming. This years e3 looks to be a good one.
