Help me break a girl's heart

Okay, RWP, I don't think I ask for romantic advice that often. Besides, it'll break up the monotony of religious threads.

There is this girl. Let us call her Alice, as that is a generic female name. For the record, she attends my school and is one year older than I am. Alice apparently has a crush on me. However, I have no interest in Alice whatsoever. This stems from (A) having never talked to Alice in person, (B) not finding her physically appealing, giving me no reason to want to get to know her (I know that sounds awful, but it is the truth), and (C) the fact that she came on a bit too head strong (She literally typed over facebook, "wuld you date me" without any foreshadowing whatsoever). So, how should I break this too her? My usual solutions (Plan A: Ignore the problem until it goes away or Plan B: Punch the problem until it goes away.) don't seem appropriate. I also don't want to just be a complete jackass to Alice, as she seems incredibly sensitive.

So, what should I do RWP? You guys seem to be know more about romance than most other fansites dedicated to obscure videogame companies that hit their prime in the 1990s.

You just have to tell her straight in a sensitive manner. "Sorry, I'm just not interested" is as simple as it gets. You can't be criticized for being harsh then. Just prepare for some backlash from her mates, because they'll naturally try and change your mind for the sake of their friend.

Just tell them the same thing you tell her. You just simple aren't interested, and you're sorry.

The thing is, I told her that last summer. She kept asking! Also, she has been guilt tripping me into dating her out of pity. She said "I have no friends" and "No one likes me anymore".

That's desperation, which you can't do much about. You should tell her "Look, I've already said I'm not interested, and if you keep asking I'll have no choice but to cut off contact with you. I don't mean to be harsh, but you're persisting which is really creepy and annoying".

It sounds like shes really interested in you. Unwanted attention can be really hard to deal with so, the best thing to do is tell her the truth and say it to her face. It sucks but she'll eventually get over it just keep saying no.

If she guilt trips you tell her to find real friends then, people who like her for who she is rather then forcing herself on guys who have no feelings for her. Its hard but if you keep telling her that your not interested she'll eventually lose hope. Also; dont let her get your number...worst thing. ever.

Just don't talk to her?.. If she isn't even your friend, why bother . Especially if she tries to guilt trip you. I've had a few younger freshmen do that to me when I was in high school, and I just said Nope.avi and moved on. I mean, it would be different if you actually talked to her and were friends, but yeah...
