No, BanjoPL, some insults are comprehensible. For example
"Kik yu butta" "yusa stpido gitaaz" "Ica kik yuz fura butoxxi" "Ugili bir a byyrd isa" The translations: Spoiler: (highlight to view)

 In all seriousness, I do remember when I transformed into the Stony in Mayhem Temple my first time playing through the game, and when I talked to a Stony I was relieved that I could finally understand him. If I'm not mistaken, can't you also understand what they are saying when you're Mumbo?
