Most of them look like serious/story telling, so I'd suggest Frozen. It's a movie of 3 teenagers who get stuck on a ski lift in the freezing cold, and no one knows they're up there. I watched it about 2 weeks ago, it's very good.

But on the other hand, since I saw Superbad in there, I'd 100 times recommend Pineapple Express.

Second recommendation for Frozen. Very good film, made me feel a little uneasy throughout. I enjoyed Buried also, so definitely worth a watch.

Frozen
Buried
Red
F

Strangely, all one worders.

You also seem to be interested in stories with story elements just barely out of the ordinary, like a daydream gone strange.

From that, I'd suggest Stranger Than Fiction with Will Farrell. It's, I think, his only serious role and he does a brilliant job at it IMO.

The Green Mile. Same director as Shawshank Redemption. Takes place inside a prison even. Also a Stephen King adaption. Thing is, you could've just put The Shawshank Redemption as your taste in movies and I would've recommended The Green Mile.

What I'm saying is, if you've seen The Shawshank Redemption, you have to see The Green Mile.

In fact see it even if you haven't seen The Shawshank Redemption and vice-versa.

No one has said Scott Pilgrim despite that he has nearly every other Michael Cera movie there. So that, The Big Lebowski (Barton Fink, O Brother Where Art Thou?) , There's Something About Mary (Superbad, Role Models), The Royal Tenenbaums (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind)

Recommend me some movies based on my taste:

-Titanic
-Saw I, II & III
-The Lion King
-Memento
-Shawshank Redemption
-Wall-E
-Inception
-Digimon: Diabolomon Strikes Back
-Unstoppable (2010)
-Stardust
-The Butterfly Effect

(For the record: I do not really want film advice, I just want to point out how ludicrous it is to be able to judge the movies someone will or won't like based on the movies that person has previously seen. Also, I HAVE seen all of these movies, yes.)

I recommend Boku no Pico Memento. It has a really strong story and requires you to actually use your head a little while watching the movie.

I've seen Memento. I found it a bit gimmicky but it was slightly above average. I've also seen most of the Coen reccomemdations that I've gotten and they're all wonderful.

Also I watched a movie last night called Everything is Illuminated and it was definitely one of the best movies I've ever seen. Also Jordan, I love the Green Mile. The part where he doesnt wet the sponge is like the most terrifying moment I've ever experienced in a movie.

Also: I watched Frozen on Netflix yesterday too. Scared the **** out of me. When that ***** got eaten by wolves I nearly shat myself. Definitely one of the best B-Movie thrillers I've ever watched
