Croc: The Legend of the Gobbos

I can't be the only person who remembers this Playstation platformer. It was one of the most childish looking games ever, yet it was incredible. It was also very difficult, partially because the controls were sort of, well, wonky. But it was one of the best platformers I ever played.

So, has anybody else played this game?

I have, though it was at my cousins and was a copy. It's been a long time.

Reading this post, you find out that MetalHeroOfTime has also played Croc. He apparently finds it to be a major part of his childhood, even though he never finished it or its sequel. He then expresses an interest in finding a copy and inquires if it is on the playstation store.

Love this game. Wish they'd reboot the franchise.

I do too. Unfortuanately, it seems as though Argonaut, the company that made Croc, has since gone out of business. So sadly...it won't happen.

I've been thinking of downloading the ISO for the game and trying it. It looks like fun.

Didn't it also have a sequel, too?

Yes, it did. However, I only got to play part of it.

I used to love this game. An hd remake could go a looooong way.

I know. It'd be nice if somebody would buy the rights to Croc, because with the company that made the games dead, it's gonna be forever in limbo unless somebody gains the rights to it.

Despite it's somewhat frustrating control scheme, that game was pretty damn fun. I might just have to pull that one out again soon.

I have this game for some reason and I don't quite know why, as I've never played it.

If you can ever find the time, I'd recommend giving it a shot.
