Every situation you listed is bad, but Libya is the first one in which helping won't end in catastrophe for us as far as we know.

And what of Tunisia? Rwanda? Any North African country that has seen bloodshed and rape over the past decade and more? They're hardly huge guys with guns. They're merely poverty stricken scrawny people with guns.

I don't have an international map of political relations committed to memory (I doubt you do either). For all I know Tunisia is Russia's bitch and so much as sending a plane over their territory will send us into a war.

Also, what is the situation? If it's just a bunch of poor people raping and killing each other, that's different than a governmental body with power and weapons massacreing those without.

I don't really care what happens either way, but simply going "BOTH COUNTRIES BAD MEN FIGHT EQUAL" doesn't really take any context into consideration.

The point is, the UN are trying to bring a tyrant down instead of just sitting on their thumbs going "lol it'd cause more problems" and continue to do nothing. No doubt, Australia will get involved soon because of our political ties with the UK and the USA.

Plus, if the USA went to war against China. My bets are on China winning.
