Help with headphones?
Basically when I plug them into my PC they play pretty loud and a "Realtek HD Audio Manager" window pops up asking what I just plugged in. If I press 'Ok' for headphones it suddenly goes quieter and I can't find how to make them this loud again, and suggestions? Damn quietnes...I want to deafen myself to Newton Faulkner ;(

try selecting "speakers", maybe.
It works OK in my PC, maybe it is a problem in your headphone

Could be the headphones, they only cost twenty quid and that was 'bout a year ago. Any suggestions for good, reasonably priced ones?

Search Realtek in the search bar in the start menu. The manager should pop up and you can change the setting.

I don't know, but I'm sure that a new one would work fine.

Just the same thing that comes up when I first put the 'phones in, and even when everything is up full it's not as loud as it originally is :\ Very odd.

Right click your volume icon, select 'Open volume control', adjust the settings. Sorry if that doesn't work.

![]() Trying it with my brothers headphones now, louder than using mine but it still does that weird thing where it goes quieter when I accept that window. :\
