Xbox live down
Today I logged on to Xbox Live only to get an error that i couldn't connect. I went to www.xbox.com to see what's wrong and low and behold xbox.com and xbox Live are going to be down for a little while. Go here to see for yourself. Apparently they are doing it to give users new My Xbox features. I posted this because I want everyone to discuss the features they want and don't want. This way we can have fun trying to predict what will happen when Xbox Live is back up.
Note: I believe that they may be updating features for the original Xbox as well as the 360. This is because I had logged on using an original Xbox.

Major Nelson said Live would be down from about 2 A.M. PDT to 3 P.M. PDT. Apparently, it's back up, and it's got some cool new features for the "My Xbox" section on xbox.com: you can now check (and send?) messages and Recent Players without having to sign into Live.
The messages feature seems to be a bit glitchy, though, because I had to accept a Friend Request twice (once from "Messages" and once from "Friends").
