Flying Alone
I'm flying by myself for the first time to go live with a friend for 2 weeks. Now the airport I'm leaving is HUGE. If you wanna now exactly how big, try the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN Airport. That's pretty big. But anyway, I'm flying alone and I'm worried I'm going to get lost, or go to the wrong gate. Has anyone else my age, 15, flown alone before? I very often show short-term memory loss so I'm afraid I'll forget my directions. Help?

Write down all your directions and quadruple check that you're in the right place. Ask some security guards or shop owners where a specific gate is, and I'm sure they'd be happy to help. I've flown recently, though not alone. It isn't too hard, don't worry.

There are signs and screens everywhere in the airports to know your way, don't be nervous.

make sure you have your itinerary and if you ever get lost find an employee and they will be glad to help you. I have been flying alone since I was 13 with no help, you'll be fine :3

There are usually employees everywhere. They should be happy to help if you're lost. And like greatman said, write down your directions.

I've flown tons of times. Granted it was with either just my mom or both mom and dad.
There's TONS of signs throughout the airport. just write down your gate, and you'll get there. And if all else fails, do what everyone says. Just ask shop owners, security guards... Anyone that looks "Official" xD You'll be fine (:

I'm doing the same thing later this month, except I've never flown before, and I know I need to transfer halfway there, and I'm terrified of missing my flight or getting lost :c.

Don't be afraid to ask airport security or staff for directions if you get lost! However, at the rate that flights get delayed, you'll probably have plenty of time to find your way either way

I flew alone for the first time when I was about 8 or 9, though technically a company took care of me until my relatives got me from arrivals.

Yep, first time I flew alone I was 15. Was flying up to Mississippi to visit my dad.
Usually they have gates easily mapped out, but if you ever did find yourself lost for some reason, there are always attendants and security walking around who would definitely help you out.

Pay a black guy tree-fitty to pretend to be your assistant and at the ticket collector start twitching and speak slurred and they'll have to accompany you with an assistant.

Digimon Adventure 01 was probably one of the best things I'd ever seen. I even saw it through to the end. Then 02 came and messed everything up. Why did they have to change everything? If it's not broken, don't fix it.
