Here's some of what happened since you were gone.

Some stuff major stuff changed. N&B came out and split the fanbase. There was a "Hell's Forum" contest to pick new mods, resulting in Danny Trabajo (Now called CollateralJoe) and greatman becoming mods. Grey Jinjo went from being an admin to a now (Practically absent) mod. Just recently the forums were restructured, as this is less of a Rare fansite now as opposed to just a general gaming one. I think the offical name is "Rare or Whatever" Project now.

Uh that's important stuff off of the top of my head.

Well I've been here since '09. The only big thing that's really happened recently is when a few mods and admins got together and moved around some threads into different forums and deleted a lot of forums and subforums. Which ended up being good, because that got rid of the cluttered mess.

But that's all I remember. You should probably listen to Avarice's post more, since he's been around longer than me.

Ayup, I was BlueBreegull back then, although I kinda pooped out just at the beginning of that year, sometime around the RWP awards if I recall!

Ooh, dramatic about N&B - kinda figured that'd happen though. So am I alliance or empire for thinking it was a good game overall, but not a true Banjo-Threeie?

And well, I mostly knew Grey as a mod anyhow, so that won't take /too/ much getting used to. Hm, where is the old codger anyway? Figured he'd have like 15+ mil posts by now.

Eh, a few reasons. There was kind of a lot of drama going on at the time if I remember, but the biggest factor was I was just sort of growing out of the ol' RWP. Needed to get out and see the wider world, broaden my horizons, that sort of thing. And I've been busy over the years! I think this'd be a good time to swap some stories, but I'ma wait for more of the oldbies to arrive so I don't bore the rest of ya with my stuff-that-doesn't-matter.


So hey, do we still do things like we used to around here? I mean back in my day it was customary to at least get like, pantsed, eaten, anviled, and very nearly just downright molested if you so much as said the words "Hi" :0 Do we still have punch around here? Yes you are against the Alliance now because it was a terrible game, regardless of having Banjo characters or not. Actually if anything the Banjo characters made the game even worse by completely screwing what little personality they had over.

I might be less bitter though if Rare hadn't lied and called the game a platformer, when it clearly isn't one. It's more of remake of Lego Racers from the N64.

As for Grey, he just doesn't come on anymore I guess.

Say, so just how many of the old vets are still here? I've run into a few. But like, what about Bottles? Or Kaz? Where are my old RP chums - Banjo's Banjo? John? Upsilon? Golden Jiggy? Any sign of Banjzooie or Walrus? dmoss? Is Andre still modding? And just where the heck are x and Hakey Wake? I'm noticing a distressing lack of golden jinjos. And was Roystein already gone when I quit? D'aaaahhhh I know I've missed a lot of names but I'm going back on ancient memories.
