Ocarina of Time 3D with only three hearts
I just finally finished OoT3D Master Quest with three hearts. It was VERY hard, especially the Shadow and Spirit Temples and Ganon's Castle. I even got stuck several times here and there but watching the incredible ending to that game again was well worth it. To everyone here I truly recommend playing the game with only three hearts. It becomes much harder to the point you actually fear every enemy. It is an incredible experience to play Ocarina of Time in "Legendary".
I really am happy about what I just did in the game, it feels like a truly awesome achievement for a game that is pretty much considered the best not only in the N64 but in the entire industry. I wish Majora's Mask would get the same treatment as Ocarina with a cool remake on the 3DS and a "Master Quest" version. I can only dream about a harder version o the Stone Tower Temple...

...Now I kind of want to...especially because I just played through Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, Wind Waker and Twilight Princess...

Ehh there's harder games to do something like that in, but good job anyways.

Great. Now try it with 3 hearts, no shield, and a broken Giant's Knife.

Damn, that WOULD be hard! I assume you probably didn't use Biggoron's Sword, since you can't use a shield with it.
And Iron Knuckles would be a bitch, too.

Also, which way did you do Dark Link on the run? Din's Fire? Giant's Knife? Or pure skills?

What about the Megaton Hammer from the Fire Temple?

(Actually, I think you need Epona 1 or 2 times in order to beat the game, right?)

IIRC, you need her for the Gerudo camp and to get to Lake Hylia as an adult, although I'm unsure of this because I know you can get to Lake Hylia as a child the same way as an adult, only with a ladder. Don't know if the ladder is still there as an adult.

Not so sure, I used to think you needed her to cross the broken bridge and reach gerudo valley, but iirc you can cross using the longshot too.

Pretty sure it is. You definitely need her for reaching the desert temple, though.

In any case, not using Epona doesn't really make things more difficult. It just makes it take longer to cross Hyrule Field.
However, also add in no bottled healing items and no upgrades to the bomb bag/quiver. Also no Deku Sticks for combat since they do more damage than the Kokiri Sword. And if it's possible (not sure), beat it without using the Goron/Zora Tunics.

I'm pretty sure you don't need either tunic.
