Genesis: A Short Spinoff of Guitar's "Pokemon Alone"

This is a short story set in the universe of "Pokemon Alone". I've seen all the other made spinoffs,and as the fad dies out, I thought I would try my hand at one. Please keep in mind this is a short story, and not a full fledged story like my last project, "The Rare Witch Project: Worlds Collide". Due to that, expect only 5-6 parts, but all of them being significantly longer than a standard chapter.

ACT I : BEGINNING OF THE WORLD

PROLOGUE

Inspired by Guitar's Pokemon Alone.

Inspired by “Xenoblade”, a 2011 Video Game developed by Monolith Soft and published by Nintendo.

-SOUNDTRACK: OPENING (From Xenoblade, "Main Theme").-


In the beginning...Before Kanto. Before Johto. Before Hoenn, Sinnoh,Orre, or even Unova. There was nothingness. One day, Arceus, the God of all Pokemon gave birth to the world that we all know and love today. He worked endlessly, making all of the beautiful regions, the first Pokemon, the first world's inhabitants, and the ones now labeled as “Legendary”. Unfortunately, after creating all of this at one time, Arceus became immensely fatigued. To rest, he sealed himself away in another dimension, his own sanctuary, to rest, and await one worthy enough to defeat him in battle. Arceus loved battle. He eagerly awaited one of his own creation to best him in combat. However, none have found him, and to this day this remains a myth, just as it has been for billions of years.

Every human and Pokemon in our society knows this story, as it has been passed down for generations, but there is one part that not exactly everyone knows.

On an island directly in between the ocean that separates all the regions, there is a colossal statue. Two gigantic legendary Pokemon, fighting. Their names were never discovered. The humans have identified them as “X” and “Y”. When they were conceived, they were both meant to serve as Arceus's personal protection. However, the two beasts became obsessed with power. Obsessed with the thought of being god among gods. Both being extremely powerful, and nearly as powerful as Arceus himself, both fought a battle that raged on for days straight for the position. Until finally, Arceus stepped in and turned them both into stone, to remain there for the rest of eternity.

That is, until now.

Strange activity has been reported in the island and the area around it, and now, it is certain the spell is dangerously close to fading away, and if so, our world will be torn apart even more by another battle for the ages.

A second apocalypse...not even that far from the first. I am the world's last hope, and together with my comrades, we will not rest until we avert this catastrophe.

I am Revo Espoir, A Lucario, born in the Hoenn region, and I am one of the few surviving Pokemon of the Great Legendary War. So it begins.

The first part is in the works. Since these are all pretty lengthy, expect a bit of a wait for each of them...Depending on how hard/dilignetly I work and how much time I have tommorow, I'll try to get part 1 finished by then...

2035 A.D – The Morning Before the War

Revo opened his eyes to the familiar bright blue sky. The sun was shining bright and the world seemed even more beautiful than usual. Revo sat up and yawned. A young boy, around the age of 13, smiled and waved at him from above.

“Heheh, good morning ,Revo!” The boy said. Good morning. Another day... Thought Revo. The boy in front of him was Chris Raine. He was Revo's trainer, however the two treated each other more like family. So much to the point that Chris always left Revo outside of the Poke Ball unless he absolutely had to.

The boy stretched out his arms and smiled. “Today’s going to be a GREAT day! I can feel it!” He excitedly sung as he walked into his house in Fortree City. Revo followed him to his bedroom, and saw the boy gathering his things. “Dane’s gonna come with us! He’s bringing Ignis, so c'mon, let’s go!”

Dane, Chris's older brother, had just came back home after an unsuccessful attempt at defeating the Elite Four. His Infernape, named Ignis, shared a similar bond between Revo and Chris.

“Hey little bro,” Dane greeted the child. “Ready to go?” The boy pumped a fist. “You bet!”
“Alright, then, an expedition for the four of us!”
“We're heading into the woods today,aren't we?”
“Yep!”
“Awesome! Let's waste no time!”

The two dashed off, Pokemon following, to inside the wilderness within Fortree.

“Well, looks like we're already off to an exciting start, eh, Revo?” Smirked Ignis.
“Pft, yeah. Arceus knows where they're gonna take us this time...”
“C'mon Revo, brother! You gotta lighten up,man! Whatever it is, I'm sure it'll be great!”

The four dashed off into the woods. Traversing trees, finding wildlife, and marveling at the beauty of nature. After an hour, they all stopped to take a break. It was a peaceful,almost eerie silence, until...

CRAAAAASH!

Chris screamed, frightened by the sudden loud noise, Dane jumped, as well as Revo and Ignis. “What the heck was that?!” Shouted a scared and shocked Chris. “I dunno...” His brother replied. “But it sounded BIG. Like something fell out of the sky.” Chris scratched his head. “You mean like a meteor?” “Yeah.”Dane nodded. “Let's go check it out.”

The four walked towards the direction smoke rose out from, and there indeed was a meteorite, right from space. There was an oddly shaped pokemon in front of the rock.

“No way!” Dane mumbled in awe. “It's...Deoxys!” Deoxys stared right at the group.

“THIS IS...” Deoxys said to Revo and Ignis, of which only pokemon could understand his speech. “THE BEGINNING...OF THE END. THE GREAT WAR IS UPON US. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. THE END IS NIGH.” Deoxys telepathically told the 2 pokemon before flying up into the air, and into the clouds. Both Revo and Ignis stared in the spot where he stood, in total shock. “C'mon...” Chris tapped Revo on the shoulder to get his attention. “We really should be going.” As they made their way back, cries and roars of pokemon could constantly be heard. To the average human, it would seem as if they were all making their cry over and over again.

But to Revo and Ignis...they heard what was REALLY happening. Hundreds of Pokemon throughout the forest, screaming. Crying in fear. Shouting that the end is upon them. That the world was ending. That they were all going to die. They even heard a small child crying very loudly for his family. But they had already begun fleeing. He had been left. Left to die.

-SOUNDTRACK: THE BURNING CITY (From Xenoblade, "Crisis".)-

The four made it back to the village, only to come upon unspeakable horrors. Many different Pokemon were attacking villagers, tearing down buildings. Doing terrible,terrible things. All of Fortree city was in blazes, and a forest fire had been started,surrounding the entire area. Chris grabbed on tight to his brother. “D-Dane! I'm scared! Why are these pokemon attacking people?!” Dane shook his head. “I don't know! C'mon, We need to find Mom and Dad! Revo! Ignis! I need you two to cover us while we run through here! Can you do it?!” The two nodded. A determined look in their eyes. Dane nodded. “Good. I knew I could count on you. Now,let's go!”

They all began their dash through the burning village in hopes of finding their parents to get to high ground. There, they saw even more macabre events. A group of Rattata cornered one man and constantly clawed at his face until it was nothing more than blood and ribbons of flesh. A Typhlosion was seen chasing one young woman, using flamethrower, attempting to burn her. People were screaming and crying, much like the pokemon in the forest. Dane covered Chris's eyes to make sure he didn't have to witness such terrible events. All of the pokemon doing this had a crazed,deranged look on their faces. Something was obviously very,very wrong. A sinister air floated throughout. In the distance, they all could all see the great legendary pokemon fighting each other. Dialga vs. Palkia vs. Giratina. Groundon vs. Kyogre vs. Rayquaza. Lugia vs. Ho-oh. MewTwo vs. Mew.

Finally, they reached their house, a large statue of a pokemon stood in the center of the square. The house that they had lived In had already turned to ashes. Chris and Dane's beloved mother and father were already part of those ashes. All hope was lost, and they were long gone. Dane dropped to his knees. “No..!” A large rumbling was heard, and up from the sky came the one and only Arceus. The deranged pokemon stopped attacking, and through the storm clouds, this beam of light held the legendary pokemon as he slowly made his descent to Earth, much like an angel. The evil Pokemon all began to bow to him. Chris and Dane looked up.

“GO, MY POKEMON. TAKE BACK WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY OUR'S!” Arceus boomed, and the pokemon began to attack even more viciously. A group of them were headed towards the four. Revo and Ignis grouped up to fight the crowd together.

-SOUNDTRACK: REVO'S LOSS (From Xenoblade, "Confrontation with the Enemy")-

“So...” Ignis said, “This is the end...It was nice knowin' you, man. But, I ain't goin' out without a FIGHT!” and finished his sentence by using Blast Burn. Chris and Dane were surrounded by Pokemon, as they stood underneath the giant Pokemon statue. “HELP ME,REVO!!!” Chris screamed as the two Pokemon attempted to fight the crowd of crazed Pokemon...their fight was a lost cause,as both Revo and Ignis were both taking a big beating. The statue of the Pokemon began to give in, and slide towards Chris and Dane. Reno watched the two humans, as they both screamed in pure, raw terror, knowing that they were going to die, and the statue fell on them, killing them instantly. The one who made that statue fall was none other than Arceus, who let it fall by merely tapping it. Arceus, The one that they had worshiped for so long, had allowed all this absloute madness to occur. Ignis and Revo stared for a second before Revo glowed with an immense aura.

“YOU BASTARD!!” Revo roared as loud as he possibly could, enraged like he had never been before. “I'LL KILL YOU!!!” Revo used an extremely powerful version of Aura sphere that cut through the entire crowd,and Sprinted at Arceus as fast as he could, his hands glowing with energy. “REVO!” Ignis shouted. Revo lunged up at Arceus, trying everything he could to even damage him. He flung Revo away like he was a toy, and looked up at the sky. Revo and Ignis, both on the ground and in immense pain, watched as a glow began to envelop Arceus and the other legendaries.

“I HAVE WON.” Arceus said, and roared in unison with the other legenadaries, a certain kind of roar that was so loud it could turn someone deaf. A white light and an earsplitting loud explosion was witnessed. And with that, the World of Pokemon was irreversibly changed, forever.

Hi all, I'm extremely sorry for the long wait for Act II...It's not dead,I promise.

I've been busy with Christmas, new years, and school, and although a new semester has started for school, I've only now gotten down to getting some stuff written.

I profusely apologize for my inability to get shit done, and I will assure you I've already made some progress on Act II, but it's going to be significantly longer than Act I. :>

Proof that Act II exists and is being worked on.

Again, I'm really sorry. I've fallen behind on this, Unity, and I shattered my promise to finish RWParody before 2011 ended. In fact, I don't even know if I got any done.

School and life in general has been real difficult for me (Not emotionally, but everything has just been so tiring and exhausting) and I'm sorry I haven't gotten around to writing things.

I'll try my best to be more active and actually get some stuff written and posted.

So once again, I apologize.
