So the beta windmill was fake after all...
I just read on the RWP wiki today about the beta windmill in Conker, and my heart somewhat sank as i read further. Back when i read the topic, i just didn't believe my eyes that an map from Twelve Tales were left intact, and for over 5 years i tried to access it, with little luck, only to now find out the truth behind this...
I never thought CBM would pull off such a prank like this. You don't know how angry i now feel over this. I took the claim very seriously back then, and hoped to also be able to access the map, and i weren't even thinking of 'SNS', unlike some people around here... So i've been this stupid, trying for years to access an unused area in BFD which doesn't even exist.. I now feel dumb for having believed in it, so i may now forget about it and move on. Well, it was over 5 years since the thread happened, so i doubt anyone else here remembering anything about it. It managed to trick even me into thinking about the beta level being in the game. Very clever indeed.

Yeah, complicated 2007 AF for sure. Personally i'm not very much for AF anyway, and thus i tend avoiding making posts on April the 1st...
Still can't believe i got tricked into this now 5 yr old prank... I get easily fooled sometimes... Wonder if CBM still remembers about this...?

In a Conker Live & Reloaded trailer there was Conker running on the top of windmill... but it didn't make at the end, sigh. If only Rodent fell somewhere else...

The whole, not having the windmill as the final level, really made me smile the first time I played Conker's BFD. One of those golden touches from Rareware's prime years and a mark of their brilliance. I feel, with the industry being stuck in an uncreative rut as it is today, that another such game could be on the horizon once more.

Oh my god, I remember the April Fools joke from 2007! I myself that it was real, and ran to my Nintendo 64 to try and find the other SNS eggs.
