I get that Reddit is freedom of speech and all that, but I think that Kiddie Porn is bordering that line that nobody should cross. I am glad that they have put a stop to the threads and sections so these perverts have to look deeper and harder to find their fix and they dont feel so "free" to express their ways.

All of you make me shudder in stupidity. They banned jailbait, not child porn. Child porn was never allowed in the first place.
There were boards dedicated to scantily clad teens and such, but there was never any nudity. That was insta-banned. They have since removed the JB-related boards. Changing the thread title to be less misleading.

There was a board, /r/jailbait, that was banned months ago due to something on CNN (Anderson Cooper portraying reddit as some kind of child porn paradise.. ugh). Recently another was created /r/preteen_girls, that was banned and also lead to the rules being changed like they are.
To be fair, reddit is a huge website and allows users to create separate boards about (pretty much) anything. The admins of reddit have a tough job really, trying to allow their users maximum freedom of speech while also not appearing scummy or illegal.

I joined Reddit over a year ago, and had noticed I stopped visiting "gaming news" sites like Kotaku... who typically rip content off Reddit anyway. Reddit is not like 4chan. It's more like Digg. Except better.
