the thing I find saddest, not aangs death, that one was a given. but the one that really hit the heart strings and made me legit cry was the fact that Sokka died. Oh man. I really hope they let us see his potential kids and stuff.

Oh good, they're still up. I watched them when they were up on korranation.com just this last weekend. The show is really starting out great. All of the tie-ins to the original show made me so happy, and I love how the new show feels very different and familiar at the same time. The new 1920's style of the world was a little strange at first, but I'm already getting used to it.
There was one thing around the beginning of the first episode that made me both laugh and feel pissed off. It was the part where: Spoiler: (highlight to view)
One of Tenzin's kids asked Katara about what happened to Zuko's mother, and when she was about to explain one of the other kids cut her off. I literally yelled "NO!" at my computer screen when that happened, and then I laughed. The writers were really trolling the fans there. That said, seeing Katara again was a very pleasant surprise.
I'm so excited about this series it's ridiculous. I'm just so glad to revisit the world of Avatar again. The fact that I enjoyed these two episodes as much as I did is a very good sign, because it will probably get better from here. Can't freaking wait!

Hahaha yeah, when Alex told me I nearly spazzed out in my Case Studies class and spent 2 hours trying to find a good wifi spot in my uni so I could watch it instead of studying for my Chem test XP

Definitely can see some korra x mako shipping from the start, and the troll on Zuko's Mother made me and my brother scream at the tv in frustration. Definitely a stab at the fans XD

I forgot this series existed, but watched all of the firsts episodes. I also forgot it was awesome; it's awesome.

So far I'm really liking this. I do find Korra's face when she is staring into the sky a bit creepy though(not sure if that is really the right word to describe my feelings).

Nice catch.. I thought her main bending was fire at first, then water, but just now I figured she's earth because she's having trouble with air.
How does the cycle of avatars go? When a new one is born I know their main elements go in a cycle.
