When do you listen to the radio? BAM! Here is the question.

Also, do you listen to music or people talking? I prefer to listen to discussions etc. I don't like to listen to music when I can't choose which one to listen.

Radio is poor so I rarely listen to it however I set my alarm to play the radio for 1 minute to wake me up and by some function of society there's a 1-minutes news headline breakdown that plays just then.

I listen to talk radio. Dennis & Judi are my favorite talk show hosts together, Dennis is a stand-up comedian, and Judi is pretty funny (but irritating a bit at times) and on break from work, I listen to Steve Travelise on the same station.

I don't really listen to it anymore, I get most of my music through my own collection and Spotify. I don't drive, so I don't have it as an accompaniment for long journeys (My iPod does just fine for those).

My dad listens to Radio 2 a lot, and my brother sometimes has Radio 1 on, so when I'm at home, they'll usually have it on and I quite like the banter. When I'm at uni, my housemates put Galaxy or Captial or some rubbish on that plays the same 4 or 5 tracks on repeat every hour.

I only use the radio when I'm in the car, if I forgot my iPhone (car has an iPod jack) or I'm driving someone.

If my Zune dies, or if I forget it, or if the FM transmitter in the one car I some times drive gives me too much of a headache, I'll listen to the radio.

Typically, it's the classical music station (and, after 6, the play jazz, making it awesome). Otherwise, I turn on [w]xpn.

The radio where I am is utter shit. We have Mix 95.1, which basically is 85% commercials and 15% music, complete with horribly annoying talk show husband and wife in the morning. Their son was in my choral group.

The majority of the other stations are country, which I can't stand. We only have 1 good station - 101.5 Bob Rocks, where all the employees are named ______ Bob (Like the redheaded female host is Ginger Bob). After midnight, they're the only station I've ever heard of to play death metal/grindcore. Actually "hard stuff" that I enjoy. Any other time, it's more "mainstream" hard rock, like Korn, Breaking Benjamin, Linkin Park, Shinedown, Tool, Puddle of Mudd, and so on.

I listen to talk radio on NJ101.5. It'd be too much like a parallel universe if I ever left the state.

I pretty much only listen to the radio when I'm driving. I'm not really into music except for the occasional video game soundtrack. I used to be into smooth jazz quite a bit. That was my favorite radio station, but then they took it away and replaced it with Prince and Madonna. BARF. Most of today's music isn't all that great either.

My grandpa has XM in is Yukon so I listen to that, if I'm driving MY truck I listen to Pandora with headphones on.

I listen to the radio almost exclusively in the car and I usually only listen to talk shows.

If I want music I bring my own...

Headphones while driving isn't really a good idea to have while driving. You have to be alert of other cars, you won't hear their horns and could hit someone or something.

Yeah I'm aware of that, I make sure to pay attention and keep my volume pretty low when I have my headphones on. ^^
