Okay, so i got BKGR in the mail today, and im wondering...WHAT THE HELL?!?!?! Wheres my grunty's industries music?!?!?! WHERE!?!!??! And why is it a lava world? Why dosent it look like a BUILDING?! why is my favourite banjo level only a sub level?!?!?! Whats going on here?! is this a joke?! Why is this the same way in Banjo pilot? Cant they just use the purple toxic waste instead of lava? i would really like to know whats going on here.

There is no Grunty's Industries in GR, only a Lava-Snow-Industry combo world called Freezing Furnace.
Supposedly, the industry-part of this level is the same Grunty's Industries from Tooie. But you can't see the rest of the industry because it haven't been built yet.*
There's only a small part of it, and it is covered with lava, bad guys, and a wonder-wing pad.
And that's about it.

*EDIT: Because, ya know, GR takes place in the past, before Tooie.

Yes, but thats still no excuse for it not having the music we all know and love. Also, why is it made of brown rocky stuff instead of red brick? How did grunty transform an icy/lava world into quagmire? Why is there no lava in bt? Where is all the machines from GR in BT? What ever happened to the gruntlings in tooie? Why- ahh well i gave you enough questions for now i suppose.

GR is the worst in the series.

They should keep Banjo in a 3d World (I mean a proper 3D world not a GBA fake 3D).

It is indeed the shortest, and least impressive in the series, but that doesn't make it a bad game. Instead of making an epic, cinematic, 90 hours long game, Rare just managed to make a fun game with some nice touches.

Why, I told you already, Freezing Furnace is GI in the past. Also, the song was mixed to the point of only slightly resembling GI's theme.

The level is located in a mountain and the industry haven't been built yet, hello?

Well, she is a witch, she has enough power to cast a spell that could transform things.

Uh... They went to the bathroom for a while.

He got bored after unsuccessfully spending 2 years trying to move that boulder over Grunty.

Want a challenge? Beat the game with 100% completion under 2 hours and get the five star rating at the end. Besides, the original Banjo-Kazooie wasn't that much difficult back then.

You should thank THQ for being morons when publishing RARE games. Oh yeah.
In the Rom Dumping scene everybody knows that this game ixists, so it's not like people forgot about Banjo. Go blame THQ.

Grunty's Revenge was okay... Until you got to the insanely boring quiz at the end that I never beat due to boringness.

Edit: I almost forgot about the transformations. All of them suck except the octopus, and you can't even explore the whole level without being warped back to Mumbo's Skull.

Grant Kirkhope didn't do the music for the game, Jamie Hughes did. Why should a new composer at Rare spend all his time working on music that isn't his own? It would be stupid and a waste of his time.

And that's why I admire the composer from DKC3 Advance.
Instead of remaking the original soundtrack, he did his own songs, from scratch.
=)
And his songs PWNZ.

So much negative BKGR comments... I actually enjoyed the game. Sure, it was no Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tooie, but it was still one of the better games I ever played on a two-dimensional handheld. Can't recall if I cared for the music, but I'm sure it wasn't that bad. All in all, I had fun with it. Until I disowned my DS and lost the only device I was able to play it on

I'm with you on that. I liked the game too, one of my GBA favs.

Sure, the music and levels aren't the same, but would you want everything to be repeated? Besides, it could possibly have been beyond Rare's power to add as much as they would have liked.
