Rareware to PS2 better than X-box?

Everyone complains that Rareware is on X-box...but why? Sure, they aren't on Gamecube anymore and thats a downside, but is it really 100% that they left Nintendo or does it have to do with X-box? Would it have been better if Nintendo sold Rareware to Sony? Would there be less complaining if Bill Gates didn't get his hands on them?

It doesn't matter to me as long Rare keeps making good games. They just need to get them out faster. The Xbox does have advantages in the power department, though, and Rare always pushes a systems capabillities. I got over whatever hate I had. It's just silly to be like that.

geez, well.......... since xbox i think has more buttons. So since it will probably be only on XBOX it will have more tricks. But gameplay would probably be the same even if it was on all 3 consoles.

It just makes me mad that Gates isn't giving Nintendo rights to the characters. I'd love to play "Grabbed by the Ghoulies," but I don't have an Xbox nor will I ever. Sony would probably give rights to at least one or two games...

Oh well. Until Gates gives a good looking game to Nintendo, I'm not too happy.

What? Give Nintendo the rights to the characters that Rare created, when Rare is now a subsidiary of Microsoft? Think about that one a bit. That would be like Nintendo temporarily giving Rare the rights to the Kongs back so they can make an Xbox game with the DK characters they created.

I don't think you'll be too happy anytime soon, either.

Rare belongs with Nintendo, and on GameCube. It's infuriating for many reasons. XBox > PS2 however.

Especially considering that many, many people went running out to buy a GCN, thinking they'd be able to play Rare's games in their system. Surprise. (This is why I was holding off on buying one until SFA came out, but, even then, I didn't, because I have no reason to buy one.)

So if Activision didn't have to pull out of the deal at the 11th hour and purchased Rare (instead of Microsoft), you'd be pissed at them, too?

The thing is, I expected this forum, of all forums (not including DK Vine), to be supportive of Rare's relocation/eviction. Looks like I was wrong.
