I hope they fix all the shit that was wrong with XY and just XY. I expect all the traditional bullshit to return, but I hope they fix the things that were specific problems with XY, lack of move tutors, dull worlds, dull story, dull everything in the main game. Maybe we can fix the damn Pokerus glitch? The originals were great so all they really have to do is not **** it up.

I'd imagine they're saving any game footage for E3.

Whaaaaaaat. I totally thought they were gonna do Pokémon Z first, what with all the references to a new region, and something that's "Not from Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova". I guess they're doing that after. (My guess is that Z will take place in Italy, which is right next to France in the real world and seems the most logical choice, and we'll get to explore two regions rather like in G/S/C.)

Seems like with mega evolutions and now this, Nintendo has shifted to pandering to the fans a little. Not necessarily bad -- and R/S remakes make sense with the new graphics and high demand. If they would have waited until after Pokémon Z, the hype would have died down too much, so good move.

I missed out on R/S/E, D/Pe/Pl, and BW2. I hope this one looks like X and Y.

Ruby was my favourite game, (aside from Red) so I'm pretty hyped for it. It was my favourite region to explore, it was so varied and fun to traverse.

Although Crystal was the first game I played, and I played a lot of Diamond I think in comparison to the third gen, Ruby was the one I've always felt the most nostalgic about, (and, besides Y, would probably be the experience I enjoyed most) and I am now regretting my statement of saying I won't continue playing pokemon. I'm going to try to stick to what I said, but if my brother gets it, which he seems more tempted to do, then I may give in.

Gen III felt unique, like an adventure. I don't know why, there's just something about the region that makes it feel special, like a contained little world. And Gen III was just a huge advancement for its time in general.
