I was on Wikipedia...earlier...Okay, so just a couple moments ago...and I searched Diddy Kong Racing DS. I found a few interesting things...

New features

Confirmed characters
Diddy Kong (A main character from the Donkey Kong Country series.)
Tiny Kong (A main character in Donkey Kong 64, new to this remake.)
Tiptup (Male turtle who made cameos in the Banjo-Kazooie series.)
Pipsy (Yellow mouse)
Krunch (A Kremling from the Donkey Kong Country series.)
Timber (Orange and black-striped male tiger.)

Suspected characters
Drumstick (Chicken, Possibly Unlockable)
Bumper (Black & White Badger)
Banjo (Main character in the Banjo-Kazooie series.)
Conker (Main character in the Conker series.)
T.T. (Walking stop watch, possibly unlockable.)

Notice how it says that Tiny Kong will be joining the crew. I thought this as striking, yet cool...I prefere Tiny Kong over Dixie Kong anyday. But does this mean that they are going to cut out another character, or simply just have MORE characters?

Tiny Kong was even on the screenshot on RWP's front page.

I doubt Rare would cut characters out. The DS cart can hold more memory than a N64 cart. But, there is always that chance.

it doesn't have banjo as a comfirmed character though, how sad i sure hope he makes the cut. i hope he's not just replaced with tiny.

I don't think replacement is nessecary(sp?). Why wouldn't Banjo be in this game anyway. I don't get it, is it important if he is in the game or not?

Yes. I always played as Banjo, even before Banjo Kazooie and Tooie came out. And what's ironic was that my brother always played as Conker. Lo and behold, the two we played as had their own series...es!

Shouldn't all the characters in the original game be in the remake? That dosn't make much sense to me.

Rare hasn't really confirmed any character yet. We just know that those will be in it becouse they were in the trailer.

i wonder what they are going to do with conker keep him cute voiced squirrel like in the first diddy kong racing , or make him more like Conker's bad fur day.

I'm almost completely sure Tiny is replacing Conker. I honestly hope Banjo's not in it, as Rare announced that one of their DS games would take place in the Banjo universe. I want to see a completely new BK adventure.

maybe, just maybe, they are all in it, but conker and banjo could be hidden characters and thn do what they do in other racing games, which is where they randomly replace another racer wiv one 4 tht tournament or race or whatever n i hav no idea wot i'm typing
