A Serious Idea For BK3

Two words people: Playable Blackeye.

Wouldn't an unlockable side story starring the drunken captain be awesome?
The old ideas from project dream could be reused and there would be clues to SnS, casually hidden of course. Blackeye is a great character and he ought to have one last appearance. So, what do we think?

I had a long reply written up. It involved a detailed explanation on why a multiplayer banjo game would destroy the universe (the sad part is that its true). But when i finished it sayed i wasnt signed in, even though i was and i lost it all.

I don't see why a Banjo multiplayer game would destroy the universe (if you don't like the idea, simply don't play it), but I must also disagree with Blackeye being a playable character. Sure, if there's multiplayer, maybe add him there. But personally, I don't like the idea of an unlockable side story. Of course, this also brings me back to the "if you don't like the idea, simply don't play it" thing. I say, if there was something like that, don't make it so that we can only solve SNS that way. Maybe use this unlockable mode to give us backstory or alternate, more fun ways of unlocking SNS. But don't make it the ONLY way to solve SNS. That way, both the people who like it and those who don't like it can still enjoy the new Banjo game.

Looking back I'm not as serious as I was before. It was just a random thing, food for thought y'know. He should at least make another cameo. But I guess that the captain's ship has sailed as far as being playable goes (pun completely intended.) Also I think that multiplayer banjo would be pretty bad, but it wouldnt destroy the franchise. The 2player minigame stuff in Tooie was okay.

It was a neat idea though. Some people take stuff way too seriously. "No man, horrible idea! No. Just no." Like, what's up with that? Who said this would actually be implemented? And a stand-alone Banjo multiplayer game would be... different. But as you said, the stuff in Tooie was alright. If they kept it sort of like that, I'd be totally fine with it.

Well, it was already done in Banjo-Tooie, so I guess the universe is already destroyed. So... we really have nothing to worry about anymore.
