Make no mistake that area 51 is entirely real, the governments have, and probably still will, aknowledge its existence. It is just a military base, however what goes on inside is still debated by the public.

I'm a believer in "UFO's", but not the kind that come from Outer Space; the kind that people fly out of barns, to dust their crops. I think there is a pretty good explanation for most of what goes on in our skies, but most people have a strong desire to believe that what they've seen is not "of our world".

..not me, though.

I don't see why aliens and stuff can't exist. We have billions of light years of unseen and unexplored areas in the universe. Now whether or not any aliens are intelligent and fly around in spaceships... I don't know. Most scientists theorize that if there are any aliens, they are probably an equivalent to a regular old earth animal, like a cat or bee.

True, however, how can they be sure that there are actually...

...out there? I mean, if we haven't explored them, how can we be sure that they exist? Kind of like Columbus [or Amerigo Vespucci] found America. We didn't think this mass of land was here until we hit it with some giant boats...

Coloumbus died thinking he was in India.

As about space and stuff, we can barely reach our own moon. I really doubt we'll make go any farther than perhaps Mars.

Also, I believe some of the telescopes in space have located a few moons in the Andromeda, but I'm not positive it's that galaxy.

Okay, I'll tell you a story from a couple years back.

It was Halloween night, I was going back home from a friends house. And up in the sky, I saw a star that was zig zagging all across the sky. And then I realized it had to be a UFO and nothing else. Because it could be no Halloween decoration, no spot light, and CERTAINLY not a trick of the eye, so ever since then, I've never had a doubt on it being an UFO.

Don't tell me what I saw because I know what I saw.

I've never seen a UFO before, so I'm not entirely sure if I believe they exist. Some purported UFO events are interesting though. For example, the Phoenix Lights, which happened right near where I live, was one of the most widely witnessed and reported UFO occurances.

There is other life. How do I think? Psocess of elemination.

People in the 15th century didn't know bacteria existed. They didn't know that there was microscopic life. We just don't have the technology to acend into the outer limmity of the universe to see if there is actually life out there..

There is a infinate space of stuff out there. Earth is only some 5 billion years old. The universe is nearly.. a few trillionyears older!! Who is to say we are the only carbon-baced life forms?

We should not be saying "No. There is no life out there. Why? Mars has no life, it is similar to earth."

My answer to the non bielvers is "Well prove to me there isn't life out there!"

They usually say "It is a big universe, and we are oly life"

WE ARE THE ONLY LIFE WE KNOW ABOUT! THERE ARE ALIENS! I'M ONE OF EM! Case closed

What exactly are you talking about? Nobody has even mentioned Roswell, New Mexico and this is so far been a very good discussion topic. Please try to be a bit more considerate of other people's ideas.

As for my beliefs, I do believe that there probably are other alien lifeforms in the universe, but I think that almost all of the UFOs that people see everyday can be explained rationally.

Well, I don't really think that UFOs exist in any way. Everyone who has claimed that they've seen a UFO... They way they describe it, I can easily tell that it's simply an aircraft or a light of sorts, not the typical 'alien's spacecraft.'

But other than that, I DO believe that life might exist somewhere out there besides the planet we live in. Maybe, maybe not. But there's always the possibility.

Er...because we can see them?

I'm all for life on other planets and whatnot, however this sort of thing:

Are sure sure it was a Halloween-candy induced stroke? I've had those before many a time.

....Also, I think there's some sort of alien life out there. I don't think they really give a damn about us.
