get 'em, Dr. Mario!

Viruses are, amazingly, created by sick and stupid individuals who feel it is their duty to make people's lives more miserable. What are the virus experiences you've had?

Me? None. I've even intentionally downloaded an attachment I knew was a virus. Why? Two words: Macintosh owns. 99% of all virii (correct plural) cannot infect a Mac. The 1% that can are written speciffically to infect a Mac system. This applies to OS 9, I don't know whether OS X is under this reign of OS superiority as well.

I'm under the constant impression that my computer is home to nearly 5,697,124,735 virii
(estimated count). I think one day it may have worked for it's intended purpose, which supposedly is to compute things, but by God it can sure fool me sometimes.

Pff. Us Windows users know we suck, but with that comes our vast knowledge of fighting such evil. It all balances out in the end.

I've never gotten a virus, and I don't bother with virus protection. My time is better wasted trying to fight off constant spyware attacks.

I hate it when people send you FAKE viruses. I've had three losers send me fake viruses via IM/E-mail, and all of them gave me a heart attack...

I've never experienced a REAL virus, but if anyone tries it on me...

I hate virii. I used to get them all the time now I get Anti-Virus on my computer and no more troubles. I used to have to format my HDD a couple of times a month cause of them at one stage.

Umm.. guys. the plural is "viruses" not "virii" i just confirmed it on dictionary.com

and BB, maybe you are getting that 3 stooges effect. all the viruses are trying to get in at the same time and thus can't get in because they jam up the port. lol

advice: erase your hard drive and then install zone-alarm when youy bring it back up.

zone alarm isn't totally safe either... better advice: become a hippy and live in an anarcho-communist commune in a tropical prardise free from technology...
virii IS the correct plurialisation of viruses, but only in the case of computer viruses... or maybe only in the case of biological organisms... i forget which... but only one of the two... and possibly only in English english [as in colour as opposed to color [american english]] in the same way that the plural of lexus [the car make] is lexii...
