"it's impossible...!!"

Star Fox Adventures speedrun.

Using tips from everyone, I will do this. For the first draft I will do it under 4 hours.

Please give me advice, everybody, to cut down on my playing time. Cut down MADLY.

Note that the speedrun time *does* include cutscenes. ><;;

So, give me some advice, please. If all goes right my face will be plastered on SDA.

And if anyone wants the best Tricky impression ever, MSN me: bobdapsi@hotmail.com

I doubt you'll do it.

COmpleteing Mario 64 with 16 stars is hard enough.

And people once thought we had to travel downwards through an entire office building to beat the first level of Perfect Dark on the easiest difficulty, too.

Now we just jump through a wall and drop to the bottom story in 6 seconds. Or at least the people better than me do - I do it in 12.

In other words, you don't always follow the "rules" when doing a speed run.

2 hours to shave off. Watching the VHS I realized some VITAL mistakes:

1. I don't mind buying all the maps, it helped a TON later (Shaved off Cloudrunner Fortress to an hour) however, I shouldn't have bartered, I should have just taken it at its current price. Also, I should have ONLY shopped *after* I got the 50 Scarab Bag. That gave me an extra 10 minutes.

2. Ugh. DarkIce Mines. It all looked REALLY good, until I got further into the mine. The boss, I must say, was a splendid performance, 3 minutes of pummeling him with fireballs, but running up the spiral with the fuel barrel, I died multiple times. I realized a VITAL speed trick, the third try. Stay in the center the whole time, and when you are hit, JUST before it hits the ground, snag it as the A button flashes.

3. This is a little later, but in Dragon Rock, I took WAYYY too long pauses before shooting the switches near the High-Top. Sure, aiming is hard, however, I just kind of froze up, stalled. Thus, getting that stupid High-Top out gave me an extra 20 minutes.

4. Cape Claw, AUGHHHHGH. I added an entire 30 minutes, just LOOKING FOR THE GOLD BARS! By that time, 7 (or so...) AM, I forgot I had a strategy guide.

5. Cloudrunner Fortress: the driving part, that's...all I can say... 5 minutes is a no-no!

6: Ice Mountain: i failed the driving part. :\ only once, however.

7: Ocean Force-Point THE HEARTBREAKER. 1 HOUR TRYING TO DO THE DAMN KRAZOA HEADS THE SECOND TIME. I AM SO STUPID, AUGH. ><;;

Speaking of speed runs, what ever happened to Grey's BKGR speed run?

Oh, wait, I probably know the answer

Bah...I found the fastest way to kill enemies if anyone wants some friendly competition:

Use the analog-stick-backwards attack, knocking 3 hearts off, then just blast with Fire Blaster. E-Z-KILL

That Mario video was nuts. Must've been playing and playing and accidently found the second glitch, that was crazy.

Not that I beat it quickly, but I actually did beat Mario 64 in one sitting. I'm serious, I didn't turn off the game! I played from start to finish, and beat it WITH 120 STARS!!! Cool, hunh?
