Tough choice?

The idea is that you can get a 64DD off of EBAY for about the same price as a PS3. (A cheap PS3)

But I want to set it up as most of this community is largely Sony haters.

Let's say that Rare somehow ended up in Sony's clutches and they were going to remake BK and BT with SnS included (in all it's supposed to be glory) and B3 to boot. To put icing on the cake, they'll release the new BK-BT (Now called the Banjo-Kazooie Saga) along with the system to save you the hassle of buying it separately.

Having all that said. Would you prefer a 64DD in mint condition so you could bask in its failed glory.

Or have a PS3 super bundle as it were?

ha! I have the PS3 so I'm going to vote 64DD. I think everyones going to vote PS3 though if that^ happens.

Well that's a no brainer!... for me anyway. The PS3 bundle is the superior package. If B3 is included that just sweetens the deal! Imagine how much money you could net selling all those things! Though it's not a bad thing holding onto either. Especially if you think you'll like PS3 games. There's plenty of future use.

The 64DD on the other hand is a dead cause. There probably won't be anything new for it ever. And another thing, most of the games the for 64DD are obscure. Unless you're a collector, there isn't a practical use for the average gamer.

And let's also think here... The PS3 and a game would not go for anything less than $300 ~ $400 and that's a quite low estimate. The 64DD is not worth the same high cost unless you're a diehard Nintendo own-it-all.

64DD, I've been after one since 1998 and I could finally put my DD disc to good use.

By the time the games I actually want for the PS3 come out it will probably have gone down in price anyway.

Not a tough choice at all , PS3 would be the most rewarding choice. I would like a 64DD for F-Zero X 64, But the ps3 has several games I would want.

I chose 64DD because it would stand as an ever-living tribute to a Mother game that almost wasn't (but then was, but in a different language.)

Why does everyone hate platstation so much? Oh yeah, cause Rare never made games for them. It's got nothing on Nintendo, but it does have a couple of good games. Well, ps1 does anyway.

The PS3 is my pick. I mean come on! The DD has under ten games for it and most of them are really crappy. The PS3 doesn't have that many good games either, but it has more and lots are on the way.

NO Don't listen to them. 64DD = Mario Paint, F-Zero, and all-around awesomeness in every category. I'd kill a man just to own one.
