Perfect Dark XBLA

Perfect Dark is a port of the Nintendo 64 game of the same name to the Xbox Live Arcade. The porting of the game is being handled mostly by 4J Studios. Perfect Dark XBLA was released on March 17, 2010 for a price of 800 Microsoft Points.

So far, the noted changes to the game include an upgrade to 1080p HD resolution and a near-consistent frame rate of 60 frames-per-second, as well as online multiplayer through Xbox Live, Achievements and Leaderboards. There may also be an improved draw distance, although this has not yet been confirmed. The game also includes two new control schemes, called "Spartan" and "Duty Calls," which set the button layout to be similar to Halo and Call of Duty, respectively. The game also features unlockable Avatar awards in the form of Perfect Dark t-shirts and gloves.

The game still features the three GoldenEye 007 maps that the original Nintendo 64 version included: Temple, Facility and Complex. However, it also includes all of GoldenEye's weapons.

The game also seems to have a larger graphical improvement than 4J Studios gave to Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie, with many environmental textures being replaced with higher-resolution versions. According to a preview by IGN, the game's models have also recieved a massive boost, with polygon count increases in the thousands.
