Ashby Computers and Graphics is funded in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire, England by Tim and Chris Stamper with John Lathbury and Carole Ward; they were also joined by their siblings Stephen Stamper and Louise Stamper, and the venture was supported by their father John Stamper. The company's staff settled down in a terraced house next to the Stamper parents' newsagent's shop in The Green and spent their first six months on developing Jetpac.
