The Ancient Ones are a group of characters and objects in the Banjo-Kazooie series.
Description
The Ancient Ones are large statues of ancient Egyptian honeybears, resembling Banjo, with hoops over their heads.
In the Games
Banjo-Kazooie
In Banjo-Kazooie, The Ancient Ones appear in Gobi's Valley. When Banjo and Kazooie fly through the hoop of one of the statues, another rises up and tells the duo to fly through the rest of them, to "defeat the witch." After Banjo and Kazooie fly through all of them in succession, The Ancient Ones reveal that they were only joking, but instead give Banjo and Kazooie a Jiggy for their trouble.
