Anticipation is a game for the Nintendo Entertainment System released in 1988. It is similar to board games Pictionary and Trivial Pursuit; players move around a board with four differently colored spaces, each space representing a different category. The game begins to draw an image, and players must attempt to be the first to correctly answer what the game is drawing. If a player is correct, they get to move on the game board, and once a player has answered correctly on all four colored spaces, they advance to the next level of the board. When a player clears three levels of the board (or four on the highest difficulty), they win the game.
