Biography

Shortly after restoring Rubble to the Wotnot Book, the King's new abilities allowed him to reach a stretch of land where plumes of fire rose high into the sky and the ground was black with soot. Hiding in this desolate place was an Elemental Sprite, and when the King braved the heat and searing flames to capture it, he discovered that it was Ash, the mighty Elemental Warrior who brought the spark of fire to the land, allowing food to be cooked and homes to be warmed. Ash's powerful flame also allowed the Elves to confuse their enemies with mighty smoke clouds, launching his attack in a shroud of darkness and winning battles before the enemy even knew they had begun. ^[1]

History and Development

In the Game

Ash is received from Halis upon defeating Old Mawood of the Forest Temple. Along with combat proficiency, Ash can be used to light torches and explode oil barrels.

Abilities

• Fire Blast - Ash releases a ball of flame with the right trigger. This flame can travel along walls and obstacles.
• Fire Blaze - With the left trigger, Ash sends out a stream of fire that is strongest at its tip.
• Inferno - An upgrade of Fire Blaze with a greater range.
• Wildfire - An upgrade of Fire Blast with two additional fireballs.
• Incinerator - With the left and right triggers, Ash lays a fiery trap which can be activate with the same buttons, or by an unsuspecting foe.

In the Manga

Ash's Mecha form is his only appearance in the manga. The mecha was built by the Trolls as a substitute to the Elemental Warriors.

Trivia

• Ash was one of the first characters designed, appearing in the Gamecube Beta. ^[2]
• According to the manual, Ash is sensitive about his small wings.
• Ash seems to be favored by Solon in the Manga.
• Ash was one of the five Elemental Sprites who brought Kameo to the Enchanted Kingdom. He was given to Halis to guard.
• Although his information page suggests smoke-related abilities, no such thing exists in the game.
