Big-O-Blaster

The Big-O-Blaster (referred to affectionately as B.O.B.) is a large machine built by Mingella and Blobbelda. It sits in the machine room of Cauldron Keep. Its purpose is to suck life force out of plants, creatures, and even the ground, which causes the target(s) to turn grey and become undead, displaying zombie-like properties. It is made up of a large laser (which sticks out of Cauldron Keep), a central storage unit, a small control panel with screens, various keys and two buttons labelled "SUCK" and "BLOW," and a shower area with a life force counter. The B.O.B. plays a large part in the plot of Banjo-Tooie. It is first seen when Mingella and Blobbelda show it off to Gruntilda, stating what it can do. Their plan is to suck life force from as many places as possible, then have Gruntilda take a life force shower to restore her skeleton body to its former self. They begin by zapping King Jingaling (with Grunty referring to him as a "traitor") and zombifying him, his palace, and the grounds nearby around it. A major downside of the B.O.B. is that it requires long periods of charging up in between uses.

At the end of the game, Banjo and Kazooie use the B.O.B.'s "BLOW" function to restore life to the zombified Jingaling and deceased Bottles.
